This is a really great place to stay, we were very pleased that we chose Oceana for our first stay in Lanzarote. It's a great location minutes from the beaches and lovely, car-free walks. We self catered and picked up tasty fresh bread, local cheese and meat, and very reasonably priced fruit, yoghurts, eggs and so on at the nearby Spars each day. There are loads of places to eat, to suit every taste, all seemed well priced. The Oceana is relatively small but we loved it and all the staff were helpful. We had room 212 top floor corner, had early sun which suited us, bit near a slightly rattly airduct from the bar - but otherwise not noisy for a town centre apartment. Lovely views over the town and to the sea, felt very safe and really nice mix of people.
I would highly recommend for good value.
The room was airy, clean and well stocked with everything we needed to make simple meals, beds/towels changed 3 times during the week, lots of hot water, good bathroom with shower.
I was amazed at how beautiful the whole island was, palm trees planted all over and everthing well maintained, clean and calm. We found the local people generous and modest, no pushy service or attempts to rip us off, this was a really lovely holiday and we plan to go for longer next springMore
