My boyfriend booked this as a birthday present for me, for August 2013 and after reading the reviews, we were so excited. However, although we tried to make the most of it, it just was not what we expected.
There was a very unfriendly receptionist that 'greeted' us after we arrived, so if she serves you, don't expect a smile.
We received a small picnic for dinner delivered to our room that was not bad, but unfortunately arrived after we had got an indian takeaway from around the corner (which is very, very good!).
The complex is entirely family orientated, so we stuck out like a sore thumb. Perhaps if you are a mature couple, you would be fine but as a couple in our 20s, it was not ideal.
Our room was good, clean and tidied often too but at night the heat was unbearable. There is no air conditioning, which we didn't expect anyway, but we had to wait 3 nights for a fan.
If you like sleep on holiday, don't stay in the bungalows nearest the bar as you will hear everything and have to endure the sound of drunk parents and rowdy children going back to their apartments.
We were half board and the food was good, we only went elsewhere for a change of scenery.

The travel agent advertised that there was a sandy beach nearby, which there was, but it was tiny and as soon as you enter the water, you find yourself faced with large slippery rocks so nearly break your neck just to cool down.
Along with the beach, if you leave the complex to go for a drink or a meal out, there really is not much. The indian takeaway was good for us arriving late and leaving before dinner but everywhere else is very expensive.
All in all, it was a good holiday because we made the most of what it was - lovely apartments, good food, good pool but bad location, not great beach and not ideal for couples.More
