Just come back from a 5 night break at Paradise apartments - good for the money clean large apartment, comfortable beds compared to our stay at Christmas at another resort. A little way from the centre about a 15 minute walk which was pleasant usually got a taxi back about 4 euros . There is a bus 3 times a day useful to get to the centre but was about a 5 minute walk to get to the beach from where you are dropped off. Quiet windy when we were there but you could find a sheltered spot at the back of the complex. Ate out each day as not a problem plenty of places to eat, staff were helpful and pleasant on arrival. Would use here again.

Room Tip: rooms on the outside of complex in the shade,

we arrived at the Lanzarote Paradise reception on sunday night at about 7 pm only to have to hear from the reception staff that the company that we booked through had gone bust ten days before but hadn't bothered to inform us, they left that to the hotel itself who had no way of contacting us. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful and had kept a room for us incase we did arrive and still wanted to book directly with them. Thank goodness they did.
Our studio apartment was large, clean and well appointed, everything you could need for a good break in the sun. We had our rooms fully cleaned twice the week we were there and fresh towels and dish towels three times that week. It was about a fifteen min walk to main town, which for us was no problem. For us one bonus point also was that the hotel had a few (healthy, neutered and well fed) cats that seemed to live happily there without persecution and with no DO NOT FEED CATS notices everywhere. This for us a huge plus point as we have had holidays ruined by having to see very sick and hungry cats being chased away from hotels in the past. In fact we tend to try to book with hotels we know have a tolerant policy towards them and refuse to stay at hotels that don't. Some even have cat café areas where you can go to feed and water the resident cats which is a wonderful idea and a very big selling point for people like us.

Room Tip: the appartments to the left of the reception area had a better view and looked over bigger and more...

Booked this apartment as it was the cheapest option and we were on a budget! For the price you pay it was very good. Apartment was clean and tidy and was cleaned a couple of times over the week (you only get one roll of toilet paper at a time so use sparingly!). The beds were comfy enough, and we had ample storage space for clothes etc.

The bar serves food and drinks all day, we had a few meals in there which were ok, pizza was probably the best option. Had breakfast once but wasn't that impressed with it, we walked down the road to a restaurant called The Mill which had decent breakfasts and free WiFi! Happy hour between 6 - 7, by one get one free on all drinks - two cocktails for €4 :)

Location wise it's probably one of the furthest out from the action. It's about a 10 minute walk to the supermarket and 20 to the beach and restaurants, shops etc. but a taxi is only about €4. We quite liked walking down and then taxiing back up the hill! It was a very windy when we went and the hotel pool area seemed to be in a wind tunnel! Pool was too cold to go in. We found a spot down the side of the hotel near the car park which was sheltered from the wind and a good sun trap!

All in all it was a great budget place to stay and would stay there again.

Room Tip: There are no lifts so if you have limited mobility you will need to request a ground level apartment

We were at Los Colinas apts. part of paradise apts. brilliant studio apt. Very large and clean could not fault it any way. It is a bit out of the resort but there is a free bus 3 times a day, and if you do as we do , hire a car. Staff are brilliant any query gets dealt with right away. Bar is O.k. For snacks but drinks a bit pricey compared to resort prices. Overall brilliant place to go.people complain about the beds but they are memory foam mattresses, giving a good nights sleep.

This was a fab place. We only returned back this morning. Our apartment was very big for the 2 of us. We had everything you need for self catering. We had no problems with where this hotel was situated. Yes it's a 20 minute walk to beach, but there is a fab promenade that takes you all through Costa Teguise. As many have said only 3 euro for a taxi that will take you and your shopping back for you! Staff are very helpful. This was a very clean place and we have been to more expensive places all over the countries and they have been dirty. We would totally recommend this place and we would stay again. Yes it's March so the hotel can't be blamed for the weather.......

Just returned from Costa Teguise yesterday apts v clean staff excellent pool area comfortable. The walk to the beach is a problem for people with poor mobility. I enjoyed the time away from work but would not recommend the resort it was full of more mature people. I would like to recommend a meal in the El Maestro excellent food.

Room Tip: Take extra money for the taxis from the resort centre to the apartments approx 3 euros from centre t...

We were pleasantly impressed with our apartment it was nice and large and clean and although about a 10 minute walk to the sea or 15 to the main square and shops it was in a quiet spot and had nice views.
We didn't use the bar or eat there but a few nights it seemed fairly busy so people and people seemed to be enjoying themselves.
There is a curtesy bus service three times a day but being fit we did not use it as found the way in to town fine we might have used it to go back to the apartment on occassion but as the last bus back is just past 4.30 it was too early to use.
The only negative is the distance to the nearest supermarket it is a shame there isn't a little shop there for essentials like water, if my husband had been with us then carrying water bottles back would not have been an issue but it was a bit of a struggle for us, I would not hesitate to stay there if hubby came with us to carry stuff ! Very good value for what we paid. Only minus was there was no Air con we were on the top floor so could sleep with the windows open but wouldn't want to be there when really hot and no air con also bit cold a couple of evening so could have done with a bit of heating. never been to Lanzarote before but really liked it.

Room Tip: If you have difficulty climbing stairs ask for a low room we were on the top floor and no lift bit d...
