We stayed for 8 nights in April. It was great that there was flexibility on arrival/departure days so we were able to tailor the trip to the best flights for us.
It’s a little hard to find the correct house as it’s in a complex with seemingly random door numbers so it’s much easier if Ana is able to meet you to show you. Both Ana and her husband are lovely and helpful whenever you need them.
The house is spacious and clean. It is very well equipped and has everything you could need to self cater. It’s simply furnished but comfortable.
It’s maybe a little tired and could do with a handyman to fix a few minor things but not enough to put you off staying.
The house has a nice homely feel to it and we settled in straight away. Location was excellent. Very quiet and away from the road and a stones throw from the lovely beach. Plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and supermarket all close by too.
If you want a laid back beach holiday this is a great place.
Great location close to beach, promenade, restaurants and several supermarkets. The property is well maintained, clean and tidy with very comfortable beds for a restful nights sleep and very quiet at night. The owner, Ana, keep in close contact from the moment of booking to arrival so not a problem if you need help and assistance. Home from home kitchen with everything you could possible need if you are eating in the the property. Definitely recommend.
We enjoyed our stay in this house very much, thank you Ana for letting us stay. The rooms were very large, the bed was the comfyest i have slept in whilst staying in lanzarote. The amount and variety of pots, pans, utencils etc was plenty, the location was peacful yet close to all amenities and the beach. Will definatly be returning.
We have just returned from a wonderful week at La Casa de la Playa. The house has everything that you need for a relaxing beach holiday. It is situated in a quiet, private location very near the beach and various restaurants. Such a good spot for young children and an ideal house for our three generation family - the downstairs bedroom and bathroom for grandparents and upstairs bedrooms and bathroom for parents and young children. Ana was very helpful and everything was there to make us feel comfortable. Our only disappointment was that although listed there was no dishwasher but our son in law made an excellent stand in! We would love to return some time soon.
we were 2 weeks in the house. It looks much better than on the fotos. I just loved it. There is everthing that you need and just seconds from the beach. I really miss it. Ana and victor are very nice and made us feel comfortable and welcome. Hope to go back very soon.
We enjoyed our month in Ana & Nicolas lovely house. The house is well equipped with everything you need plus we had fantastic weather during our stay..
This is a really nice place. Downstairs a good sized living-dining room, a front patio with table and chairs), a well-equipped kitchen (with small barbeque outside the back door), a twin bedroom (with patio doors leading to a drying area for clothes) and a shower/bath/toilet. Upstairs a big double bedroom (big picture window), a twin bedroom (with small balcony, and leading to an upstairs patio with a couple of recliners), and another shower/bath/toilet. There is a lot of space, and most of the house faces north and so stays cool throughout the day (a little sun on the front patio).
The owners are nice too. Very responsive to any problems. And they were really helpful when one of us needed urgent dental treatment.
The location is good as well. Towards the northern end of town, but very close to several beach areas. The house is reached by a pedestrian path, so there is no traffic around. Entirely pedestrian path to the beach (down the steps on the picture), so very safe for families. We heard a lot of Spanish spoken in the houses immediately around, which was nice – you hear mostly English down on the beaches. It’s a very quiet area (almost no noise, either day or night), but only a few minutes walk down to beach-side cafés, and five minutes walk to a decent size supermarket (and more places to eat and many shops). Ten minutes walk and there is a regular bus (number 03) into Arricife, every 20-30 minutes till late in the evening, then once an hour overnight. It’s easy to drive out to the rest of the island, without need to drive through the town.
In terms of how to get there by car, my Garmin Satnav reckons Calle Marrajo is in La Bonanza rather than in Costa Teguise proper. So worth trying that if you have the same problem as I had. If you get stuck the navigation point for the gravel car park nearest the apartment (two minutes walk) is N 28° 59.972’ W013° 29.351’.
We would certainly bring friends and family back here. Very reasonable price, although I did need to pay the whole cost when I booked many months in advance. But well worth it. (I used the Trip Advisor payment system, so the money was secure enough.)
