I am not one to give budget ibiza hotels bad reviews. I've stayed in Ibiza 12 times often in rooms that look from the 1970s however this was scary. After reading the reviews from lady week I seem seen lots of rooms had been robbed but though ah well it's cheap. Stayed here a few nights and then found that 15 rooms had been robbed of money, clothes, jewellery, phones and anything that could be worth anything. Mine wasn't one of them but I feel it was because I was in earlier that night as I was alone waiting for my friends to arrive early next morning. As this same thing happened two weeks in a row it was obvious it was no coincidence. I asked for a refund immediately and the hotel and booking.com said that they would be charging me an extra night and refunding the rest which made me mad as we wanted to move to feel safe. They said they would put extra security on which made is feel no different as it was obvious it was an inside job after talking to the others who were robbed as there was no forced entry or any doors/windows left open.

Location was ok. Near to Sankeys part of town .. Bit of a walk to space/ Ushuaia. The road leading to it was very quiet and felt a little lonely when walking back on jan. beds were really uncomfortable and kitchen / apartment really smelt if fish. Pool area very small and about 25 sun loungers and reception only opened from 10am-2ish then 4-8ish but there was a number to ring if needed anything. Overall there is better apartments for only a little more money. We moved to sal rossa apartments and was great.

On the day of our check out, we were told there would be someone at reception at 10:00 for us to collect our deposit (€200) in time to get to the airport at 11:00, but nobody turned up untill I called booking.com and they spoke to the owners who arrived at 10:40am leaving us very late for check in. The people in the room next to us had hundreds of euro's and even clothes stolen from them. No sign of forced entry, and the reception staff smirked as she was told about it and replied 'not my problem'. With this in mind we left no valuables in our appartment, so always carried backpacks during our holiday.. there was a cricket in our bathroom, the shower rail fell down, the roof leaked, the oven didn't work, there was noise from other rooms every night and fighting on the final night, the double bedrooms bed was a double matress balanced on a single bed frame. On the plus side, the pool area is clean and the bar/restaurant had lovely staff, however on the english breakfasts we ordered, the sausages were served burnt on the outside, and stone cold raw on the inside...

On our first night at Regina Park we returned home after our night out to find our room had been completely ransacked, the windows and doors were still locked and there was no sign of a break in but our room literally looked like it had been hit by a hurricane! They took €1000, phones, clothes and turned everything completely upside down. When we reported it to the hotel, not only were they unsurprised but they actually didn't care at all. They didn't help us in any way and took 3 days to even look at the lock or attempt to make our room secure, we didn't feel safe at all and when I suggested to reception that it could have been staff they just smiled as if they knew it was. Found out that on our floor, all of the English apartments got robbed and none of the Spanish. Absolute joke. Do not stay here.

In fact, it was quite the opposite. Yes, no room service, as this isn't a hotel. Nobody would take your wet towel either, but we replaced ours after we've discovered the laundry on the roof ;-)
It's good location, and staff are very friendly. They even called their mate to drive us to the airport when we couldn't get through to book a taxi!
Nice pool; small, but nice. But really, why would you even need that -- sea was 5 min walk away.
Nice BBQ downstairs. And rooms weren't dirty. At least ours wasn't. After all, I really do recommend it. It's cheap, it's good, it's friendly. Don't expect a Hilton, but expect it to be worth the price.

My friends and I have recently returned from our annual Ibiza trip (Aug ’13). We booked in to stay at Regina Apartments, mainly because it was fairly cheap and we wanted to put most of our money towards having fun out there; we didn’t mind the fact that other reviews had suggested the apartments were pretty basic as we hadn’t planned to spend much time inside. This was a HUGE mistake - from the moment we arrived at Regina Apartments it was a complete disaster and by far the worst place any of us have ever stayed. We had booked a 2-bed apartment for 5 of us online – when we arrived to check in, the receptionist told us there was a problem with the air conditioning in our apartment and that we needed to spend our first night in a 1-bed apartment but that it would be fixed the next day and we could definitely move into the accommodation we’d booked. We didn’t kick up a fuss as it was only one night but we asked if we could hold off making the full payment until we’d seen the apartment we booked and had actually moved in properly. The receptionist was adamant this wasn’t possible and said we wouldn’t be able to stay at all if we didn’t pay for the full price of our entire stay, so we did. Our apartment was on the top floor and the lift was out of order so we had to lug our heavy cases up 4 huge flights of stairs and when we saw our apartment we were shocked at how tiny and dirty it was – the sheets had filthy marks all over them, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly and there were ‘stains’ in the toilet and we found 3 cockroaches in a kitchen cupboard. The next morning we came down to switch apartments and the new lady on reception told us there was some confusion and that our 2-bed apartment wouldn’t be fixed for the duration of our stay and that there were no others available so our only option was for the 5 of us to stay in the 1-bed apartment. We made it clear that we would never have booked a 1-bed apartment and asked for a full refund so we could find somewhere else but they weren’t prepared to offer us one. Eventually they agreed that we could move into 2 separate apartments the following day when another became available which we felt was the best possible option given the circumstances. That evening, we left our apartment at about 10pm and returned at 5am the next morning – when we got back it was immediately obvious that we had been burgled. Everyone’s suitcases had been opened and our stuff had been completely ransacked, our bags had been tipped upside down with the contents left all over the floor and all our zipped up compartments had been opened and gone through. I personally had 600 euros stolen and £40 pounds in cash as well as some jewellery and sunglasses which was pretty devastating right at the start of our holiday. We were 100% positive that we locked our door/balcony/windows before we left that evening but there was NO sign of forced entry – no broken windows or bashed in doors. There was nobody on reception until the following morning so when we went down to let them know what had happened the next day, we found 3 other groups who’d also been burgled and similarly there was no sign of forced entry into their rooms either. When we explained that someone had been into our room and stolen our things, the woman on reception wasn’t even vaguely sympathetic or apologetic and was even smirking and smiling as we were talking. She refused to come upstairs to look at our room and all she said is “this is not our problem, you have to go to the Police” (which we’d already done). Considering at least 4 rooms (that we’re aware of) had things stolen, the management at the apartment complex admitted no fault/responsibility and offered no help after the incident. We decided to cut our losses and move on to another hotel that day as we felt unsafe staying at Regina Apartments and had absolutely no guarantee that it wouldn’t happen again. I urge anyone considering staying here to avoid – apartment from hell!
