The club rooms are more in the action but tower is more peaceful. Hotel is very well run and service levels are high throughout.
Very helpful staff and friendly
Parties are professional and great fun, with high level production and entertainment
Breakfast is good but very busy and crowded. Needs reorganising
Club rooms are getting a bit dated and many small fittings get broken by previous guests
Overall I would definitely return

Just got back from 4 days at this hotel, which was charging £730 per night for a double room. Mini bar prices were sky high. The Staff said they would arrange to make up our double bed rather than twin beds on the first day (it never happened during our stay) Our room was only cleaned after 3 days of asking because we complained directly to the reception staff as the cleaners told me they were too busy to do anything that day. The swim up bar was not manned during our stay but it is billed as a great feature of the hotel. We asked for a late check out and were told this was not possible however the receptionist agreed to let us have a room to have a shower and get changed in before our flight at 6 pm the following day before our flight when we arrived and asked for the room i was told i had not booked one i complained and the desk manager came out and told me i was a liar and that his staff member had not accepted my request even though i saw her write it down. Strangely enough the same member of staff has written down my request for an airport transfer at 30 euros and this had been processed. The parties were good although the dance floor area is limited by the staging so it is like dancing on a four lane motorway as there is a constant parade of people pushing through the crowd the whole experience was terrible i have stayed in many of the top hotels and this does not even come close. Their website looks amazing and decided me to book this hotel but the reality is over priced poor service and lack of respect for guests.

Room Tip: All rooms are so overpriced just dont bother get a good hotel nearby and go to a party instead you w...

We stayed on the sunset strip in Ibiza but came to Ushuaia for David Guetta's closing party. It's a really impressive hotel and the fact that it's also a nightclub that hosts world class entertainment is amazing. The drinks are expensive (60 Euros for 6 small bottles of beer) but I guess that's to be expected. Unfortunately, the night we were there for the closing party it poured rain. We stayed for the first two DJ's but after a few hours of being totally soaked, we'd had enough and left. Found out the next day that David Guetta didn't appear anyways because of the weather. It was becoming dangerous because they couldn't keep all their electrical equipment dry. The place isn't really set up for rain which is unfortunate. We read the next day that apparently some fights broke out because people were angry that the event was cancelled. The report on the internet said that the police had to be called in. I'm not surprised that they had to call in the police, because we both noticed while we were there that for the amount of guests in the venue, there didn't seem to be enough security personnel on hand. If we're ever in Ibiza again, we will definitely go back to Ushuaia for an event. Hopefully they'll be better prepared for bad weather, although I understand it doesn't rain there too often.

I stayed here with a mate for 7 days in the swim up standard room and although being pretty pricey, it was worth every penny. Parties are insanity, theres a constant buzz around the joint and the music is great. Its not a place for budgeting holiday goers I must say. We were unable to pull random chicks into the room due to them not being guests which was the only downfall. Check in was pretty prompt, but service to the room for an issue with the TV took a couple days before someone came to have a look.

Room Tip: The swim up rooms at the rear on the ground floor provide privacy during the day and is easily acces...

What can I say? I stayed for 2 nights in an "Anything can happen suite" paying $AUD1200 a night for the privilege. I have never stayed in a hotel where there is such a complete lack of service. Check in takes forever and the staff are very disinterested and you are given no explanation of the preferential benefits of your wristband or the hotel - which I later discovered why - there are none.
The food and drinks are overpriced, the pool is lacklustre. The only good thing is the proximity to the club (which itself is great). These people should stick to running the club as clearly they have no idea of how to run a hotel.
To top off our experience, we had a late flight out the day we checked out. Conceierge booked us a transfer (included in our tariff). When we went to conceirge at the agreed time (1am) we were told that one of the drivers was sick and the only other driver was taking guests to another club on the island. They refused to call the driver or estimate when he would be back.

We were connecting home to Australia so we could not afford to miss the flight. We then asked if they would organise a cab and they said it was too busy on the street and we would have to flag one ourselves.

We then asked if one of the fleet of parked Ushuaia vehicles at the front of the hotel could be used by a staff memeber to take us to the the airport - they would not even consider it!

We then were forced to take our luggage and walk along the busy street to try to get a cab - impossible!

We only made the flight because this nice local guy and his girlfriend took pity on us and took us to the airport (for $50 EURO). Says it all. Terrible hotel.
Everytime we walked past reception there seemed to be someone complaining, they really didn't care.

My friend and I were recommended to attend "beach party" in this place last Thursday, 5 September 2013. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst experiences ever.
We have arrived at 4.30 pm, paid EUR50 (as entry fee) per person and found ourselves in a small open area with no sunbeds / tents (only available for hotel guests or for additional fee) with loud music, closed swimming pool and several bars with a very limited choice of cocktails. add to that very few people and you would understand that the "party" was totally not what we have expected.
after spending around EUR250 for drinks by the bar within 1.5 hours, I left my friend by the bar and decided to walk around a bit since the place has some interesting design pieces on the walls of bungallos (like sculptures of ants and multicolored birds). when i approached the area right from DJ stand/stage to take photos of this wall art, I heard someone's whistling and then screaming "hey, you! yes, I am talking to you! you can't go there! come back!" I turned back and saw a security guard screaming at me (mind you, there were no signs "no entry" or indications that the area is closed or restricted). i asked politely the guard to talk to me in a proper way, not whistling at clients (this is a 5* establishment and not a junkies' playground, right?) and apologies. Unfortunately, my kind requests were not heard and I asked the guard for his name and wanted to talk to the manager of security. Guard refused to give his name and when we approached his colleague (who also refused to give his name) we were told that they will not let us talk to security manager, nor apologize, nor give us complaint book and if we are not happy with something, we will be asked to leave.
obviously, after such treatment we left the place and went to the hotel because we would like to leave a complaint in a complaint book. next 2 hours we have been threatened by the security asking us to leave, not letting us in the lobby (allegedly noone can enter the lobby if he/she are not the guests of the hotel as per receptionist Estefania Salomon) and stupid giggling by all these unprofessional rude people making fun of all our requests like "can we have complaint book?"/"can we talk to sales/client relations representatives of the establishment?" after several attempts we finally managed to talk to chief receptionist (Andreo Morenu) who was kind enough to listen to us and give us contact details of the manager that we can write a complaint directly to him (which we will do shortly this week)
CONCLUSION: never again!

I am a hotelier from San francisco, this labor day weekend I was at really cool place called Ushuaia in Ibiza, Spain. With gorgeous beach location, amazing weather, and unbelievable parties. DJ named Avicii who just premiered his Sunday residencies at this place.

not many review writers say anything about staff who works so hard to make any hotel successful and people's stay and experience memorable.

as an hotelier myself i know how hard they work, my recent experience was at ushuaia resort in ibiza, dj avicii was playing and the entire hotel was booked and staff was overwhelmed with 12000 people, i was impressed to see that staff and service was great and the staff was helpful and friendly!
DIANA at the front desk was very helpful, she check us in with courtesy and helped us with all our questions patiently which is great and specially when you don't know the local language. i hope the general manager or owners of this resort realize that she is an asset to this business.

Apart from staff hotel is amazingly luxurious from the outside all the way inside to the rooms. The room was very clean and spacious, beautifully decorated with modern furnishings and amenities. The pool areas were perfectly located next to the dazzling beach. Once again hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Cant wait to go back :)
