“Bad hotel & bad service!”

We stayed in a 3 person suite in Sirenis. The suite in itself was not representative of the photos on the website, the interiors of the room were old and it wasn't clean at the time we checked in. It took us about 1.5 hours to just check-in and the front desk staff did not speak proper english. The hotel room had an old style safe for which we had to pay deposit and a daily price, the hotel promised us free wifi and the internet/wifi did not work all 4 days that I stayed there. On top of this, our room was not regularly cleaned and housekeping was a joke, our AC duct was leaking and despite various complaints and calls nobody came to fix it, so much so that I had to switch my AC off and sleep in the heat. Overall - horrible experience, bad value for money and bad service.

We deeply regret not having been able to meet your expectations during your stay. The hotel manager confirms having received the report to your satisfaction questionnaire, and actions with the Head of Housekeeping have been already taken, to avoid some issues that you are describing from happening again.

The room was very basic for a 4-star. It's situated in a very trashy area with drunk youngsters. The blue bed covers were dirty when we arrived. While in the bathroom, we could hear EVERYTHING which was going on in the next room as if it was in our own room. Chatting, singing, banging of doors, throwing things around, even the loo next door being flushed (DISGUSTING). Cheap toileteries are provided, included tiny bits of soap which melted immediately. The cleaning lady didn't get us fresh hand towels and didn't even replace the soaps, which meant we had to use our shower gels to clean our hands. The breakfast room is full of beer smelling teens with puffy eyes who looked disgusting. Plus the food options were very basic and average. I would not recommend this hotel. Lots more around.

Beautiful location. Good price. Rooms were clean but old and outdated. Beds very way too hard. Rooms were brutally noisy and not sound proofed. We could easily follow the neighboring room's discussions! Noisy from 8 am (maids) until 11pm (people getting ready to go out). Got no sleep there. Good activities and nice pools.

Travelled with 12 friends to this hotel for 9 nights all inclusive, the hotel was great and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They provided us with rooms all together on 7th floor and all had a sea view, rooms were cleaned daily and were modern with all facilities. There is a mix of people staying at the hotel (families / young couples/ groups of friends) and we found the hotel accomodating to everyones needs.

The food in the hotel was really tasty with a really varierty each day and around the pool a good selection of pizza's/burger/hot dog's/ice cream. Plenty of sunloungers and itss walking distance into Playa d'en bossa centre and Ibiza town with Taxi stop right outside the hotel. The entertainment team were also really friendly provided lots of activities throughout the day. Right outside the hotel on the beach is the AQUA bus which takes you to Ibiza town / Formentera. At night the hotel was very quiet, its around a 5 minute walk away from the bars and the centre of Playa d'en bossa.

**Ignore the complaints on this hotel, we all had a great time and found it offered everything we wanted, Sunshine, good food and drink, Pool and beach and good nightlife. Only tip - To get the best areas of the beach, you need to walk 5-10minutes to get the really beautiful clear sea as there was some mossy/stoney areas directly in front of the beach.

Our first impression was a good one. Our room 710 was clean, good view of swimming pool and view up coast towards Ibiza town. The brochure did not advise of aircraft noise and they come and go on a regular daily basis. The food was nice and varied regularly. However after reading other reviews the food could be hotter especially at breakfast. The snack bar staff were better than the Goletta snack bar staff although both would choose to serve the Spanish holidaymakers before others. This could also be said of some bar staff at night. The children's club wasn't always open at the times stated and sometimes remained closed. One grandfather went and requested it to be opened? The evening entertainment was something to be desired! Most nights the show was completely in Spanish, they didn't speak or try English or even German. The Saturday night show was very suggestive on stage and it made it worse as it was all grown men with a broom handle game? Perhaps the staff should speak other languages so others can understand and also children were in the audience. The impersonation act on the Friday night had the best audience all week, as he spoke more than Spanish. As we arrived on the Monday evening the beech cleaning process was in operation, however there was no way we could take our 15 month or 5 year old on it to play or paddle all week? I have never seen a beech so unclean. Playa d'en Bossa is not a family resort. The shops and restaurants are for the younger clobbers and the bars are quite dear for drinks. We enjoyed our holiday with 6 adults and 2 children, but wouldn't o back.

Room Tip: We had rooms on top floor, 704, 709, 710. Good views. No noise.

We are glad to read that you enjoyed your vacation but regret not having been able to meet your expectations in some areas. We do not offer any Children’s Mini Club at the hotel. The Mini Club room is rented by an Italian wholesaler for the use of its own customers. If any child would like to enjoy at the Mini Club, will not be any problem, with the only request that they have to be accompanied by an adult. The wholesaler staff does also perform different Night Shows at the Conference Room for its customers.

We organize international Night Shows at the hotel, such as Live Music, Cabaret Shows, Flamenco Shows. The hotel has also its own entertainers, and they speak different languages.

The seabed plant life endemic to the Mediterranean is very important to safeguard our beaches and the quality of the sea water. Therefore, the plant life which may accumulate at the sea edge is a natural process.

The theme of seaweed is also very important to us. The jurisdiction of the beach belongs to the Town Hall, and we may not carry out any cleaning or maintenance, it is prohibited by law.

Just returned from a holiday at this hotel. We had a great time, food good, hotel clean and staff really friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice with a lovely balcony overlooking the sea and the pool. My only critcism is that there wasn`t enough draw space.

The resort of Ibiza was quite tired and in need of cleaning and refreshing. Quite a few bars and accomodation places closed.

If we were to return to Ibiza we would certainly stay at this hotel again.

I travelled with my mum last September 2012, if you are single check your rooms, they are compared to a rabbit hutch, the only ventalation is a locked window over 5 foot high no balcony as avertised, we went to reception to ask for an upgrade where they refused as we had to speak to travel republic, I spent over an hour on my mobile with them and to this day they never return my call we then paid for a upgrade our selves as there was rooms avaialble after all but both the hotel staff and travel republic didnt want to take responability.I was mugged outside the hotel, I went to reception in tears and they did not want to help or ring the police so , we had to get our selves to the police station on our own. we paid all inclusive and you are treated as second rate over cash paying customers even thou you have paid, the staff ingore you!!! on our return we wrote four letters to travel republic but they just fob you off it was not about the money it was acknowledgemnt that we where a customer and the they would look into the situation so no one else goes thriough what we did, DID YOU KNOW THAT THEY DONT EVEN VISIT THE HOTELS THEY ADVISTISE!!! think twice before booking

Thank you for visiting the Sirenis Hotel Tres Carabelas & Spa last year and for taking part of your time writing your experiences in Tripadvisor.

We would like to apologize if we could not reach your expectations in any services or areas; we do advertise on our web site that single rooms at the hotel have no balcony and no sea view.

When our guests ask us for an upgrade, we use to refer them first of all to their Tour Operator or representative, who is in charge of managing this type of service. We regret that the services provided by your wholesaler representative were not on your liking. If the representative cannot provide an upgrade, our front desk try to offer an alternative. In these kind of instances we are pleased to offer an upgrade from a “Single Room” to a “Double Room Single Use”, insofar as there are Double Rooms available.

We are very sorry for the theft you suffered outside the hotel; the protocol followed by our front desk staff is to help at any time by blocking credit cards, for security reasons and to provide the telephone number and address of the next Police Station, because such complaint cannot be submitted by phone.

We really hope to have another chance to welcome you.
