I just wanted to say that in particular - Lola in the bar in reception was fantastic.....

Chatting away, smiling, interacting with guests and being professional in the process.

It must be difficult to deliver to so many different types of clients that the hotel welcomes through its doors, but i seen her deal with all ages and she was just a natural with guests.

Good service deserves to be mentioned and recognised and Lola like i say was fantastic!

Great Hotel that exceeded all expectations!

The hotel itself is great. Rooms are spacious and you have many options. Also prime location close to everything you need to be close too in Ibiza. It's 4 out of 5 for two reasons. 1. The checkin process is archaic. After entering all my information online and being a hardrock rewards member I still had to write in on a form some information and then the checkin attendant has to type it in. It takes about 20 minutes. So with only three people working it can take a bit of time if you arrive with a group as we did. 2. The spa is very small compared to other hard rock resorts. Other than that would definitely recommend and will stay again next time in Ibiza

Travel dates: Mid September 2015, 6 nights, Platinum suite
The hotel itself is 5-10 minutes taxi from the airport (EUR 10-15), with very little plane noise which is often masked by the amazing, soothing hotel music.

This is an Ibiza hotel, no doubt but with a difference. From the minute you step out of the car, bang, everything is full on with people coming and going and staff waiting at your service. Despite being very busy there is a member of staff waiting at your feet to help you. There are at least 3 members of staff at the entrance of the hotel waiting to take your car or suit cases. The check in was very smooth, because we had a suite we got taken to a separate vip room to check in which was lovely. Unfortunately, the check in clerk seemed flustered and missed some vital information about the hotel, we weren’t told about any of the facilities or any of the entertainment that they had. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 12 noon which was a bit of a let-down but nothing major. We were told that someone would call us when the room was ready but they never did. When we queried whether our room was ready, we were told where it was but nobody bothered to show us, unlike the other guests which were escorted to their room.

THE PLATINUM SUITE….simply amazing! You have everything you could ever want, huge selection of alcoholic and soft drinks, snacks, the lot! You have a massive plasma screen, sound system, iron, ironing board, toiletries. Room service you can order through the tv. It’s very stylish with a luxurious wet/shower room! If you go outside, upstairs there’s a hot tub and a bed, it’s simply amazing! My only criticism is that where the hot tub is, even though there’s a curtain you can pull, it only covers the front and the fence that separates each deck is squared so you can still see through to your next doors hot tub which is right next to yours and therefore you don’t get a lot of privacy. The platinum suites overlook the stage munchies bar and pool and you’re pretty close to sea too which is really nice.

My husband and I had one of the best evening in the suite, whilst we were there the Hard Rock hosted the closing night “Children of the 80’s” with live performances, it was a superb and memorable night where we danced the night away in our own vip area on the top deck of our hotel suite. Out of the 6 days we were there, they hosted 1 event and if you don’t want to get involved, you can simply shut the very good sound proof patio doors and that’s it.

The most amazing factor about the hotel is the vibe, which ever part of the hotel you’re in you’ll always have some kind of Ibiza beat to it, although it’s constant it’s never anything to heavy, on the contrary it is easy to listen, which is what creates such a magnificent vibe.

The beach area is really nice especially during the late evening however can turn out expensive especially if you want a king-size bed at a price of EUR 400-500, which you can get for free by the pool areas. The sea was very dirty all the times when we were there, obviously the hotel can’t do anything about that but if you’re looking for crystal clear water you’re going to be disappointed!

The restaurants are brilliant, the food is exquisite and even though the prices are high, most plates feeds 2 people especially the burger, nachos and brownies you get at the munchies bar and restaurant. The best dishes I had there was the pasta with squid ink and the paella. The Breakfast selection is fantastic as there’s so much choice and all very tasty!

The facilities are fantastic, there’s something for everyone, gym, spa, beautician, conference facilities ect, you can have your own guitar, dj decks…. you name it!
Most of the staff were very friendly, jolly and would go miles to help you.

It might have been because it was coming to the end of the season, maybe the staff was getting tired, I don’t know but there were 2 things that let it down for me:
1. The cleaners, sorry the expression but they were useless! The only thing they would do on a daily basis is make the bed, replace towels and toilet paper. On several occasion I had to call them to get them to do things that should be second nature, sweep the floor. You’re by the sea and it’s very easy to bring sand in the room. One day it had rained mud, to prove that the cleaners didn’t do anything else a part from what I mentioned above, I noted how long if at all it would take them to realise in what state the hot tub was. Anyway, off course they never actually went upstairs so after the 2nd day I called them to come and clean it. They had left dirty cups, glasses and plates. The tea and coffee wasn’t replenished adequately, when it was replenished we’d only get 1 cup of tea each a day. One of the day there was a drug canister and empty glass bottle left in the hall way. We left in the morning and came back late afternoon, now even though the cleaners had come and gone and there are plenty of them which walk past the hall way, they couldn’t be bothered to pick that up until the next afternoon. COME ON!

2. Attitude of SOME staff. We wanted to watch a bit of tv one evening before going out but the remote control wasn’t working, I mean even though it’s something it should be checked before, it wasn’t a problem. What did bother me, is by the time someone came to replace the batteries it was time to go out and when my husband called to chase it up we were told “What do you want me to do, it’s a big hotel” that’s not the way you speak to guests! On another occasion where I had to call the cleaners, I got pretty stroppy with them as I was fed up that I had to call to request that the cleaners would do their job. Well, the attitude of the guy I spoke to was terrible and recommend he took customer service training. Instead of being reassuring his attitude stunk, he sounded annoyed, bothered and sarcastic, this did not go down well at all!

Despite the above minor draw back, the hotel is simply amazing, has a lot of going for itself, I would recommend it to anyone and would without a doubt stay at the Hard Rock hotel if I was to revisit Ibiza for the clubs.

Thank you for such an amazing experience.

Room tip: Platinum suites but this time I would request for the ones on the same side as the towel station.

As soon as we hit the tarmac in Ibiza, we could see the hotel from the airport. The bright purple lights lit up the night sky, The logo recognizable on the side of the tower as you enter Playa D'en Bossa. We knew we would be in for a treat for the week. We checked in rather late, however we still got offered cava whilst we waited, and our suitcases off loaded by the great front of house staff outside. Everything was explained fully, and if we didn't remember everything we got offered a little map of the hotel. A lovely assistant helped us with our luggage to our room. He stayed for another 5 - 10 minutes giving us a little bit of information about the room, the area and what you can see from the balcony, which was great being our 1st trip to Ibiza.

Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from, with a great selection from different parts of the world. Our view was breath taking from the 6th floor with views from Ibiza airport all the way to Formentera. There was two pools and the beach to sunbath at with waiters to brings drinks and food if you didn't want to move from the perfect sunbathing spot.

Music was played everywhere including live sets from house DJs and musicians. A lovely relaxing atmosphere throughout the whole of the hotel. We are hoping to return back as we felt truly like rock stars with the professional, friendly team down at the Hard Rock Hotel, especially Ana from reception, who made out stay as comfortable as possible. Exceptional service, nothing was too much trouble for her.

Definitely worth a stay, whether in or out of the club season.
