Mykonos Palace Beach Hotel is in a fabulous location right on a beautiful beach, great size rooms with balconies overlooking the beach & ocean it also runs along a very cosmopolitan strip of restaurants to choose from. The hotel itself makes amazing wood fired pizzas in their restaurant. There are a range of water sports to choose from on the beach. It is an easy 10 minute bus ride to the Mykonos main town which runs at least every 30 minutes.

Room Tip: I think most rooms have a beach view there, just make sure you check when booking there is a back s...

We loved our stay in Mykonos Palace Beach Hotel. It offers spacious rooms usually with balconies to the marvelous beach view. The location is smack on the Platys Gialos beach which means there are lots of very good restaurants (who offers both WiFi and sun beds for free).
It is the quiet and more high end beach to the more spoiled travelers so no beach parties or many youth but you can easily get that at other beaches which are very easy to get to -the hotel is only 2 min walk from both the bus to the city and the Water-Taxi (just make sure you read the schedule closely as it changes on a daily basis).
It was a superb stay - The hotel room was clean, staff was very nice, breakfast was very good.

Room Tip: Ask for the beachfront room. (most of them are).

We stayed there in August and had a wonderful time. All the staff in all areas were attentive and pleased to help. The food was excellent in the restuarant and on the beach. Would love to go again.
We had a slight upset regarding double booking on the first night but the rest of the holiday more than made up for that

The only negative we experienced staying at this accommodation was its location. You needed to catch a bus to Mykonos town and the buses aren't great! We caught the 9.30pm bus back to Platys Gialos one night and eventually found that we were on the wrong bus along with a number of other passangers, who were going to our destination. We ended up having to walk some kilometers after being dumped on the side of the road by the driver. We were all adamant the bus had a sign in the front window with the destination displayed as Platys Gialos when we got on it in Mykonos town and that bus's departure time was 9.30pm. It is our understanding that staying in Mykonos town has is own problems! It is very noisey, so if its a quite location you want and a beach holiday, you need to put up with the bus service and stay at the Mykonos Palace Hotel.

Thanks to Panos Sahtouris, for his excellent service. We used the hotel beach lounges most days.
Panos was very friendly, and had a lounge available to us, whenever we arrived at the beach.
The lounges were not too close to each other making the beach very enjoyable.

I am a Travel Agent here in the UK and i stayed at the Mykonos Palace Hotel in May 2013 and i have to say the hotel, location, staff & service we received was outstanding! I must give a huge praise to the Reservations Manager Elpida (Hope). Hope was extremely helpful from start to finish and the day we arrived she took it upon herself to provide us with a detailed map which she had hand written especially for us. The staff here provide the most comfortable atmosphere and are happy to help no matter what time of day or night. The hotel is set on its own private beach which is beautifully kept by the hotel staff and this was noticed daily. Tattiana a barmaid from the hotel regularly checks the beach to ensure everybody has everything they need so you don't even have to move :) There is a Supermarket within a stone throws distance from the hotel which sells everything!! There are a select few fantastic restaurants set along the strip of the beach which can be very handy if you wish to stay close to the hotel. We requested a sea view room at the Mykonos palace and guess what? that's exactly what we were given and our room was decorated to a high standard and was very spacious. The hotel restaurant is fantastic in fact so good we ate here several times during our stay and the waiters were very chatty and always smiled and said hi even if you were just passing. Mykonos town is only a 10 Euro taxi trip away or alternatively there is a bus stop 5 minutes from the hotel which will take you into the town for as little as €1.20. The hotel provide all excursions and the reception staff are always happy to provide you all the information. During my stay here there was not 1 thing i could fault, it was soo good that i am going back in October to celebrate my birthday at the hotel. If your thinking about a stay in the Mykonos Palace hotel then think no further just BOOK IT!!! i am a travel agent and dealing with reviews everyday i know from experience most people put there bad experiences but for me the Mykonos Palace should be a 5* hotel as that is exactly the experience i received. Once again a massive THANKYOU to HOPE who not only made my stay fantastic has kept in contact since my return to the UK. I would also like to thank all of the other staff at the hotel a few guys in particular would be Marina and Yorgio on reception and Tattiana from the bar!!! GREAT JOB!!!
