“Good location”

The hotel is centrally placed to visit the town and good restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful. The fact that the hotel has not been upgraded for some time adds to it's charm. There is a good rooftop pool and you can order lunch and drinks there.I return almost annually.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the square, there is a balcony and list to see if you like people watchin...

We arrived at the hotel 15th July, at around half 8pm. (15mins away from airport) The staff was lovely as we arrived very welcoming and pleasant. The staff where so lovely throughout our whole stay. Paying for a kettle and not been able to sit outside for breakfast are the only negatives I can say about this hotel. The location is perfect! 2 minute walk from the beach 10 second walk from the local bars & restaurants! This hotel is spotless, staff are lovely and in walking distant of everything that you need for your stay! I will most defiantly return!
I recommend a church view as it's perfect for people watching whilst drinking a coffee on the balcony!

We have just spent a wonderful two weeks at The Reveron Plaza Hotel and thorougly enjoyed it, this is our second year in a row. We were given a beautiful room on the fourth floor (407) overlooking the church square, there is also a lovely breakfast room on this floor looking out over the harbour. The quality of this hotel is exceptional and the friendliness of the staff, along with the cleanliness and service all first class. We shall without doubt be returning for a further visit next year. Have been going to Tenerife for forty years without a problem until i stayed here, due to my usual hotel (Paradise Park being fully booked) , i was one of the people who lost a lot of money from my room as other people have said in their report,when i was at breakfast, nearly a thousand euros in cash, betwen euros and sterling, in a locked secure room supposedly,the police were involved and they told me the security is nonsense, the cctv is rubbish, I entered the hotel many times and stood in the lobby for nearly ten mins sometimes (i timed it) before someone appeared at reception, this is true, the breakfast i would rate as two star ,fresh fruit looked as if it was out a tin,the eggs were boiled when it opened in the morning and you got the same eggs at say 9 am cold and hard boiled, this is just one example, i had to pay five euros to get a kettle in my room with a small plastic beaker as a cup, and had to take tea bags and sugar from the breakfast table as they were never replenished,oh and i had to buy in my own milk, four star hotel don,t make me laugh,they actually tried to to charge me for two weeks, i had to point out i only had it for one week I am not making this review because i had money stolen , it is not a four star hotel as they claim, go to the Paradise Park or Arona Grand if you want a real four star hotel,I recieved 100 euros from their insurance company not the hotel !!!in the condition that i handed back the form of complaint that i was going to fill in, or i would not receive the payment, the police said the thieves had an electronic machine that they can open the doors without a key card, if they can do that they will be able to open the safes as well ??, i asked for a few days free of charge to make up for losing three days of my holiday , they said they would give me ten per cent off my next booking, i told them no chance i would be staying there again,I suggested to the area manager to give the safe free of charge and add it on to the room rate as a lot of people will not buy a safe, as for wi-fi i told him give it free in the bar area and you would sell coffees and glasses of wine etc and recoup the money that way, the bar was always empty, no wonder, you can walk fifty yards buy coffee and get it free in the cafe on the corner,it is 2014 after all , although this hotel is still in the dark ages,the only good things about it are the staff and it is central, stay there again? no way.

Room Tip: the rooms overlooking the square are good for people watching.

Having returned once again, having stayed many times and always felt it was home from home. This year the hotel is under new ownership,with new rules!! The special little touches have gone, ie: no fruit kebabs around the pool each morning,no tea/coffee pots offered as soon as you sit down for breakfast,no bathroom toiletry basket(we use our own but not everyone does) some days no staff working 3-7pm to service pool/terrace area. More importantly the new ownership should prioritise more staff employment,upgrade CCTV,ensure every guest is encouraged to take full advantage of a rented SAFE (FREE even better!) (This would ensure security more so) and to use it for all valuables at all times. As It was very disturbing that 3 rooms were intruded and money taken whilst they were all at breakfast one morning. As we have always considered the hotel to be very secure in the past, it was quite unnerving to think someone was able to do this without being noticed or approached by a member of staff! Hence the need for more staffing inorder to have more vigilance. Free Wi-fi in reception would mean more guests sitting around with a coffee/drink possibly(more revenue !) which would possibly put off would-be no-good intruders entering inorder to steal from rooms (maybe upgrade the door key system too?) on a much happier note we still had a fabulous holiday with very good company at our favourite hotel and will look forward to our return as the staff are as wonderful as always.

This was our 8th visit to the Reveron plaza, which shows how much we have enjoyed it in the past, the staff are still helpful and friendly, however there are new owners and we were told there are new rules? No welcome drink, no water in the fridge, no poached eggs at breakfast as not on the menu(they have never been on the menu?) no fruit kebabs at the pool. After mentioning these things to the staff, some guests received a bottle of cava in their room, poached eggs were once again provided. The worst thing to happen was that 3 rooms were broken into and all had money stolen, so my advice is make sure you rent a safe as soon as you arrive, one guest had arrived late and intended to hire the safe in the morning, he was at breakfast when his room was broken into as were the others. We really like the hotel but unsure whether we will return, they need to update their CCTV and be vigilant at reception as there were a number of times there were no staff visible?

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 10 days in the 2nd and 3rd week of June. The staff were very pleasant and always willing to accommodate any of our needs. The location is its most endearing point as far as we are concerned. You are 2 minutes away from the beach, lovely cafes and restaurants are practically on your doorstep and if you fancy a few late night drinks, los americas is a €6 taxi ride or a 15-20 minute walk away. The area itself is a hub of activity during the day but is surprisingly quiet during the night, which was perfect for a relaxing holiday.
