“lovely well looked after complex”
Reviewed 13 January 2013

Just returned from Azahara and found it to be a lovely place to be.
Very quiet area and not too far from resuarants, supermatkets and beach.
Apartment 318 booked through owners direct was very clean and although basic, had averything you need.
The balcony had the sun all day and room had ceiling fans which were much need.
We would have like to have gone back next year but it is fully booked.

Just returned from a weeks break staying at Apt410.at the Azahara Playa.
Booked via ownersdirect, the whole booking process was easy & from the moment we arrived until our return to the airport was catered for by Maria.
What you see from the pictures advertised is what you get. Basic accommodation, but has everything you require for a self-catering holiday. What you cannot appreciate from the pictures is what a fabulous location. This beats any 4&5 star hotel for 2 adults that's on the outskirts of town.
Restaurants a plenty, with excellent menu's. The best beach in Tenerife on your doorstep, and a view from the balcony to die for. What more could you wish for.

We booked our hol through karen with holidays4u.org and were very happy with karen and the company. We had absolutely no problems, the apartment and complex was spotless and very well kitted out with everything you would need.We were on the top floor so the view was amazing,we also loved th pool as it was nice and quiet, it is a residential complex. The location is excellent, accross the road from a lovely beach and beside some fabulous restaraunts.I would highly recommend the restaurant Picolo and also First Love, the Claddagh Irish bar was good craic and worth a visit, that whole area has a lovely selection of bars and restaurants.Basically we cant wait to go back!

We have stayed twice in this complex and have no hesitation in recommending Azahara to others. So conveniently placed and our apartment on the top floor has the most fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean adn Las Vistas Beach. Mercadona is just around the back of the complex and also there are many restaurants at El Camison, close to Mercadona. There are also bus stops at El Camison should you wish to go out for trips. One night we caught the bus to Los Abrigos for the Tuesday evening market. As it happens, the market was extremely poor but we walked down to the harbour and had a fabulous meal at La Scarpetta, an Italian Restaurant, superb food and a lively owner - the "BOSS"" - quite a character, but you cannot help but like him. If I can be of help to anyhone who is considering staying in this complex, I will be more than happy to oblige. Please send me an email via Trip Advisor.

Room Tip: Choose a top floor apartment for the best views

The apartments are in a good location - very accessible to all surrounding areas. Lots of places to eat and drink - not to far from the beach. We went for a walk most mornings as it was a little bit cloudy to start, and then sunbathed around the pool in the afternoon. There seems to be a shortage of seats around the pool and wasnt to sure whether you were suppose to take the ones from the balcony to the pool area, which would have been a bit of a pain ..... The apartment itself was ok (Room 305) though we were surprised at how basic the facilities were, there was a hob, a microwave, kettle and toaster, but no grill or oven so you were very limited what you could cook - anyway it was a good excuse to go eat out every night !!! Several times at night we ate at the Players down on the front, we also had a chinese meal one night at Hong Kong Kitchen - it was fab ! We over indulged and had cooked breakfast a few times to which we would rarely do at home - we had breakfast at the Players and the Rovers which was good, but we did try the Aberdeen Angus steakhouse for breakfast and it was diabolical !!
We ended most nights at the Rendevouz British bar which wasnt far to stumble home ... the only draw back to this bar is that it was like walking into your local as everybody seemed to know each other (mostly ex pats I think) but still very friendly !!! There was one thing that we really werent happy about and that was the noisy nursery just across from the apartment - the only day we had a quiet breakfast was Sunday ! The kids were yellers/screamers and the people looking after them were also very loud !!!.
Trip advisor asked if you would recommend the place to a friend, I am having to click on No as it dosent give anything other than yes or No - the complex was fine it was just the location of this particular apartment ....

The apartment complex is clean and it has security gates. It is in a good location on the border of pdla and los cris. Takes 5-10 mins to walk into both areas. There is a good supermarket close by. The apartment itself was basic and dated (apartment 305) . I think most of them are on this complex. There is a childrens creche under the apartments so from 8 till 6 all you can hear are children playing, crying and the staff singing nursery songs. However in the evenings it is quiet.
The pool area looked clean enough but I think you have to take your own sunbeds down.

Stayed at Azahara Playa in february of this year, found it to be in an ideal location close to both Cristianos and Americas, Apartments are in a quiet location just 3mins walk from beach and a supermarket very close by. As the apartment is privately owned it was like home from home, whilst not necessarily the most luxurious we were very impressed, so much so we are going back in November, can I recommend a couple of restuarants in nearby Cristianos - The Original Bistro and La Pietro. Small pool - but lovely sun terrace.
