Located on the roof top of The Promenade - Pondicherry, this restaurant serves great food and reasonably good cocktails. The seafood platter and Kabab platter is excellent though the Dal makhani and Roti's are fairly ordinary. However the atmosphere is wonderful and you have a great view of the Sea from some of the Tables. Desserts needs improvement.
All in all a great way to spend a great evening especially from Oct to December when the weather is less hostile !!!

We had stayed in the hotel Promenade and hence we had full hand experience of this restaurant.Excellent ambiance,cordial staff,good menu are the main features of this restaurant.Strongly recommended for a nice party.

The staff at promenade is ill trained and there is inordinate delay in getting your order and bill. The range of items in the menu is also limited. Waiters are unable to explain to the diners regarding the composition of any dish. In short training is badly required.

hey i and family have been staying in pondicherry for several days . we walked at promenade beach n we saw one hotel named promenade hotel we had our dinner there it was really good very welcoming place was we met this person Mr shakti he gave us the visiting card n he taken special care of us . i would love visit it back it a have a wonderfull time there.

Everything about this place was alright. The rooftop dining experience was enjoyable, their service was efficient, and the food was great. They have quite a decent array on the menu, so spend some time to study it before ordering. I have dined here twice already, and both dishes I ordered were fairly decent. I would have wanted to try the buffet at the ground floor, but I didn't want to over indulge that night. I was told the place is owned by the same group of Hidesign, which is why a lot of leather was used in the interiors.
