We went here to celebrate my birthday on a Sunday lunch at the end of the holiday season. It was our third visit. The owner is interested in using local produce which majors on seafood and the famed and excellent vegetables of the area. I started with a superb seafood "broth" which invoked the flavours of the sea and my main course was a quite magnificent and generous steak with bearnaise sauce. The steak was sufficiently marbled, not overtrimmed and grilled a point to perfection. My wife had their cappucino of the sea followed by perfect moules. A rose wine from the Loire complemented the food. Will return again as we have before! Well located for those returning to the UK but we live locally.
