“I didn't think there were waiters as bad as this”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

This place is awful.I can start out by saying we had the worst waiter , and it went down hill from there .It would take to long to tell the whole story but ....just avoid this tourist trap. It would be a joke but not funny.Joe

“Old tired sea food”
Reviewed 25 May 2014

Had lunch here and was extremely dissapointed. We had a friture each to start biy like white bait, this was actually OK. A plate of sea food was ordered with a whole crab, 12 oysters, 6 langoustines and 12 crevettes. The waiter was polite, pleasant and helpfull unfortunately the kitchen did not back him up.
The oysters appeared fresh and were fine. The langoustines were very light in weight and were very dry, either frozen or old and dried out. The crab was very much the same and allthough full and it had been a nice crab there was no flavour like a fresh crab and I would say this was definately frozen which I understand is illegal in France.
Rose Wine was good and the dessert was OK. 131.00 euros with a kir and cocktail and one digestif and coffee. Compared with the sea food platter we had in Lyon (hundreds of km from the sea) this was realy terrible.

“Lovely french fish restaurant”
Reviewed 14 May 2014 via mobile

Ate here whilst staying one night in sete. All seafood was beautifully fresh and the waiter very helpful in letting us mix and match the menu. I had oysters, mussels, sea snails, scallops all of which were lovely. Husband had garlic prawns which were extremely heavy on the garlic so watch out but they tasted lovely! Lovely bottle of rose to wash it all down. Touristy but tasteful with great food.

“Not even worth the time”
Reviewed 26 April 2014 via mobile

The service at this place was terrible. The waiter was very arrogant. I cannot say anything about the food because we decided to leave before ordering. Do not go here unless you like horrible service.

“Better than reviews suggest!”
Reviewed 30 September 2013

We visited the beautiful port of Séte on a Sunday lunchtime and all the restaurants along the canal side were very busy. We opted for a quieter table inside the restaurant and chose the 21€ menu, which is three courses of fish or shellfish, followed by dessert. All our meals were freshly cooked and very tasty with excellent service from a delightful girl who could speak several languages. With reasonably priced bottles of wine (no house wine unfortunately) we were more than satisfied with this experience.
