“Best location in Gouvia”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2014

This is an ideal place for those looking for a smaller hotel (29 rooms) but with excellent service and staff. We were there for two weeks in June and were delighted with the location and the helpfulness of the staff (particularly both Alexandras and Chloe).

We had a sea view room (there are only 3 in the hotel and it seems only 3 in Gouvia!). The negative side to this that the front is the entertainment area so don't expect to get to sleep before 1am!

Having said that, a side sea view room would be an option and also quieter.

Did not stay at this hotel but ate in the restaurant twice. First for lunch which was ok- not exceptional. I decided to go for breakfast one overcast morning. The setting is beautiful and the views of the bay very pretty. I ordered beans, toast bacon and 1 egg. The food arrived without the bacon and cold. The waitress took it back . When next brought out it had the bacon but was still cold. The toast was the same as before with the one corner off it I had tasted . It was really very poor and not the standard expected. It's the worst food I have been served in 15 years coming to Corfu. Such a pity as the waiting staff are all lovely . Wont be eating here again.

I am going back to this hotel on June 13th > 27th after a previous visit a couple of weeks ago. I live in the UK but I have fallen in love with Gouvia and the Greek way of life and the local people as they are so honest and friendly. I am looking to buy a villa on this visit and Alexandra has promised to help me avoid and pitfalls etc.

We stayed for 2 nights. Our first impressions were fairly poor. The receptionist was surprised to see us as she was unaware of our booking. She later apologised for not sending the shuttle bus for our arrival as she was too busy to check her emails that day. Surprising as the hotel was nearly empty.
On the first night we had an outside flood light shining directly into our room, no shutters or blackout curtains. We were given another room when we complained the next day, no front of desk after 3.00. Breakfast was pretty dismal, bread, a toaster, coffee, a bit of cheese and cold meat. The lady of the hotel who speaks little English but did her best to make us welcome, quickly made us some boiled eggs and bacon when she saw our dismay.
Despite all this the hotel staff, a family affair, gave us helpful information about local busses and attraction. The wifi was woeful however
This hotel is probably best for a high season holiday as many of the hotel amenities were not available when we stayed in late April.

We have spend few days in that wonderful and magical part of Greece while we were cruising around the Ionian .The hotel is situated on the beach of Guvia within walking distance from the Marina .The rooms were confy and clean with spectacular view over the sea and the so called Komeno bay with a beautiful graphic little church .
The stuff was absolutely wonderful with information , suggestions and always a nice smile on their faces .
They made us feel like we were part of the Molfetta family .
The atmosphere at night was magical with all kinds of different entertainment and very pleasant and kind stuff .
The beach wasnt what we expected to be but with the valuable help of Aleksandra we discovered all the hot spots of the island and the most beautiful and breathtaking beaches (Thank you dear)
Although we had our own boat we arranged a trip to Paxos, like we were advised and had a great time. Paxos was a nice experience and the blue caves is something you have to see
Antipaxos beach is like a fairy tale and the water crystal clear.
Guvia is bursting with restaurants , bars and pleasant people.
Molfetta was the pearl of the village with the most entertaining atmosphere day and night.
Thank you all for the wonderful holidays you have provided. We will definitely see you guys next year .
Special thanks to the reception team and last but not least the bar and service .

Room Tip: ask for sea view room

The hotel is perfectly located just a few metres from the quiet beach of Gouvia. There are many restaurants to choose from in the area and by bus or taxi you can go to Corfu town in just a few minutes.
The hotel definitely exceeded my expectations for a three star hotel with regards to both the hotel standard and service.
I have never been at a hotel with such a friendly and helpful staff as this. They gave a lot of great information about the island and things to do without even having to ask. They are always smiling and are helpful with everything like arranging car rentals or taking care of any other needs you might have. They really take you in as "part of the family".
I would come back just to meet them again. Especially Ovsanna ;-)

The breakfast is above what to expect for a three star hotel, and if you miss anything, just ask and they will try to fix it for you.

I will definitely recommend this hotel to others, and would love to come back!

Room Tip: Ask for sea side view.
