We’ve just returned from an eight night stay at these lovely apartments. We were given a warm welcome by Elleni, who met us and showed us around the apartment. It was spotlessly clean, bright and airy, well equipped and the bathroom well..... a fabulous shower. Really felt comfortable there. The gardens are delightful and well maintained, the pool is lively and was never too busy with plenty of sun beds and shady areas.

The bar area is nice and Glynis and Babis were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We used the restaurant facilities twice and the food was lovely. Many of the clientele in the establishment were return guests which speaks for itself.

There are many restaurants and bars in Gouvia and the Marina area which is just and easy 10/15 minute stroll. The marina with its fantastic boats is a lovely spot to people watch with a coffee or a beer.

The beach in Gouvia is a pebble beach with boat hire available along with Sun beds at €8 per day.

The bus stop to Corfu Town is just across the road and runs around every 20 minutes for €2.30

We wanted to visit Paxos and Anti Paxos and so did one of the tours offered locally, €24 each but it was a long day with a pick up at 07.45 and returning at 19.30 and only 2.5 hours on Paxos it’s self. It was nice to see the caves and swim off Anti Paxos but we would’ve preferred more time ashore. If we go again we will get the bus to Corfu and go on the ferry.

Elleni organised a taxi for our 25 minute journey to the airport which was €20

We would highly recommend Spiti Prifti to anyone visiting Corfu, you will not be disappointed.

We didn't stay at the Spiti Prifti but we went there 5 days out of the seven that we stayed in Gouvia. The staff were excellent and made us all very welcome, the food was good quality and a reasonable price. Glynnis works really hard and remembers everyone's name. We looked at the apartments while we were there and were sooo impressed with the staff and facilities that we are already looking in to booking there for next year.

We have just returned from a week on Corfu and we stayed at Spiti Prifti with my parents-in-law. Overall, I was very impressed, not often you see such a high level of professionalism from locations in the height of holiday season.

From first contact to last, Eleni was fantastic and I believe she really is a huge driver of this hotel's success. Extremely attentive, responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Eleni helped us book a car and a boat, both were really good deals and we would highly suggest this. In terms of the accommodation itself, we were placed in a very comfortable, clean two-bedroom apartment with a balcony that overlooked the garden and pool. There was everything you could need in the apartment from a clean bathroom with good shower pressure (sometimes tough in Greece!), to a fully outfitted kitchen and comfortable beds (with working airco!). We had no issues with Wifi which also has a solid speed.

The pool and bar area are the star attractions, with a good selection of drinks. I was slightly underwhelmed by the food and it is a pity they don't do cocktails before 6pm. That said, the pool is sparkling blue, very well maintained and there is a nice atmosphere. As other reviewers have said, it is next to the main road so be aware there will be traffic sounds. However, I wouldn't say this disturbed us much at all.

In terms of the area, you should realize that Gouvia is in the heart of the tourist belt in Corfu. The local beach isn't that spectacular, but I would highly recommend a day out on a boat. There are several bars and restaurants around, so you won't run out of options. Still, probably not the most beautiful town in Greece.

All in all, I think this is a first-class establishment, especially considering the rates and professionalism. Little doubt in my mind this is the best place to stay in Gouvia.

We spent a fantastic 2 weeks here at Spiti Prifti and must say this was the friendliest place we’ve ever stayed. The staff were amazing and clearly loved working here as they genuinely cared about your happiness. The food and cocktails were amazing and both Glennis and Babi’s did an amazing job running things. The apartment was very clean and spacious and provided everything needed and the owner went above and beyond to cater for our every need! Such a beautiful place with gorgeous surroundings. We don’t usually return to the same place but will definitely consider returning in the future purely based on the excellent personalised customer service received here.

We stayed at these apartments for 2 weeks at the end of July. We had a fabulous time, can’t speak highly enough of it.

The staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble.

Food is lovely, and the apartments are spotlessly clean. The fact that most of the guests were returning visitors says it all.

We will definitely be going back.
