We stopped here on our way from Greymouth to St. Arnaud. The entrance is right next to the highway and the trail can be easily walked in 20 minutes. It is amazing to see how the rocks do look like pancakes stacked one on top of another. There are several viewing platforms with a lot of descriptive information. There is also a blowhole which was very active while we were there. It is free and definitely worth a visit

We stopped here on the way down the west coast. We had heard a lot about these rock formations and wanted to see for ourselves. It was very easy to walk around as the paths were very well made with information all along the route. Unfortunately it was wet and windy the day we were there but this did make for spectacular sights as the waves crashed against the rocks. Make sure you take your camera

Rocks were an amazing sight also saw the blow holes as the weather was terrible but meant there was a big sea running. Easy walk with lots of good information boards

Unforgettable! One of those wonders of nature! The trail through the park beautifully designed and maintained but to enjoy it at its best chose the right time of day for a spectacular view of the blow holes (ask at your local accommodation).

We drove up from Greymouth in 30 mins, the walkway is very well constructed and gets you right out near the rocks and over the ocean. We were there at high tide so the blowhole and sea spray were at there max. Other then the pancake rocks, not much up here.
