This was my first time to Jamiaca. Girls trip to the exclusive Iberostar Grand Rose Hall Resort in Montego Bay was awesome! Lisa at Beach Bum Vacation went above and beyond. The rooms were extroidinary and the views were breath taking. The food was amazing. The butler went above and beyond to make us feel like queens. The activities were awesome. The activities staff were great!! I would highly recommend to all! I can't wait to come back!

My husband and I stayed at the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall in January for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it!

Upon our arrival we were greeted with nothing but excellent service. They upgraded our suite for us to an ocean front room which definitely made a difference. The view was beyond amazing. We were lucky enough to have 2 great butlers Tafari and Rashane who always ensured that we were ok, from booking our dinners to checking up on periodically.

Overall our week there was heaven, the food was gourmet (including steak for room service), the beach was gorgeous, service was top notch, the room was huge with a big balcony and the fact that we were in mobay made it easy to travel to ocho rios and negril.

We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning in the near future. Thanks to all the staff at iberostar that made our stay there so memorable!

Just some tips: day beds on the beach make a big difference! Try all the gourmet restaurants they're great. If you can upgrade your room, do it the ocean view is worth it. You have access to the other iberostars the suites and the beach, but they dont have access to the grand so take a walk over. Beach parties were alot of fun!

It was our first time to Jamaica. The room was very clean and always kept up every day. The people are very outgoing and friendly. Awesome staff here and always entertaining. As Iwe watched the girls from the beach gather all the wet towels from the beach by hand I feel there could be a better way maybe a golf cart with a basket on the back would make there job a lot more efficient and modernized. We plan on coming back next year as it was the best that it could have been. PARADISE. We highly recommend!

My wife and I just got home from the airport. All we can talk about is the fantastic time we had, the magnificent resort and the top notch service from beginning to end. Without getting into too much detail, from the second we stepped off the bus to be greeted with mimosas and cool towels to calling us the night before departure to tell us when they would be picking up our bags, tells the entire story in a nutshell. We literally were pampered from start to finish.

The resort is elegant, clean, classy and perfect for adults who are looking to relax. The property, the staff, the service, the pools, the beach, the food - it doesn't get any better. My wife never drinks tropical drinks - get your wife the "Jamaican Smile" or a "Coco Loco" just to test the great bartenders. You won't be sorry... You never saw pools like these and we never had to fight for chairs, palapas, towels or beach space.

Because of the attitude and energy of the hotel staff, all of the guests seemed to enjoy one another and couldn't stop raving about the resort. We're hooked, our friends we traveled with are hooked, and we will be back for sure!

Room Tip: Higher the better - we stayed in 5402 even though the hotel has only 4 floors.

Our annual girls trip was to Montego Bay, Jamaica in Aug 2013, and we had a blast at the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall Resort. This resort was exclusive, accommodating staff, and just perfect on all fronts. Just returned from a corporate trip; all I can say is wow. From the staff when you enter the building to our Butler Shawn wishing us well on our way out, simply incredible. Anything and everything we thought we wanted was available to us and everything we needed to make an amazing 4 days was delivered. Nothing was short of 5 stars. A most unbelievable get away resort.

My friend & I are in year 3 of our annual girl’s getaway. So far we have tried the Iberostar Grand Paraiso Beach in the Mayan Riviera, the Body Holiday in St Lucia, and this year the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall in Jamaica. While we have had great experiences at all 3 resorts it will be difficult resisting the urge to return to the Grand in Jamaica.

We travelled mid-week which turned out to be great for avoiding huge line-ups at the airport. The location of the Grand is also very close to the airport so you can get started on your vacation right away. Upon arriving at the Grand, we were warmly welcomed with chilled cloths and refreshing drinks.

As we arrived a huge thunderstorm erupted. We watched the lightening from our enormous ocean facing balcony. The room was so beautiful the rain did not put a damper on anything. The room was very elegant & clean (thanks to housekeeping). It’s great having the swing and couch on the balcony. The resort may want to consider installing mosquito netting over the couch. Sitting out late at night was out of the question unless you wanted to be eaten alive. An additional lounger would also be welcome.

The food is excellent with our favorites being the Surf & Turf and Italian. Breakfast was awesome each day. A sharp contrast to the breakfast and dinners is the lunch buffet. The lunch buffet is really not up to the standard of the rest of the resort. The location close to the water is awesome but the set-up and food choices make it seem more like a canteen…and a very low-end canteen at best. Having been to the incredible lunch buffet at the Grand Paraiso Beach, the lunch buffet here was very disappointing! Given the quality of food served at the a la cartes & breakfast buffet surely management cannot think this lunch is appropriate for a 5 star resort.

There was a great lobster & shrimp BBQ one afternoon & a Jamaican BBQ another day. In terms of entertainment there was a show each night and a pirate beach party. We had a great time mingling with the entertainment staff & other guests. Some attention to the sound system is needed as when the live band plays the music is a little too loud.

We used the spa for a hot stone massage. It was a good experience but way overpriced knowing what resorts typically pay local staff. Iberostar spa services are available here at New York prices leaving guests reluctant to book treatments. Staff are seen desperately wandering around trying to drum up business. Not only is the spa not making money, staff are losing potential tips. Had the services been more reasonably priced we would definitely have treated ourselves to more treatments. This sentiment was echoed by numerous guests.

There are 3 pools and a swim-up bar to enjoy but we spent our time at the beautiful beach which had lots of beds & great service. While there are some rocky areas, especially after a seasonal storm, it’s nothing serious and once you get past the surf area it was fine.

I cannot say enough about the staff at the Grand! Everyone we came across went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. We had excellent service by wait staff throughout our stay. Noteworthy are Ofiliah, Kareem, young Rhoan, Presley, Anthony, Deniese,

We are really not high-maintenance people but our butler Darwin really tried to go the distance to make our stay special. He went out of his way to touch base with us each day, even coming down to the beach to find us to see if we needed anything and confirm reservations. It was a treat seeing his smiling face each day. He is a real gentleman.

The real ambassadors of Iberostar are the Star Friends: Kiki, G-Money, Shortcake, Peter (Mr. Neat), Mr. Fresh, Stella and Bubbles. They mingled with guests getting them involved in activities without being intrusive. Having stayed at the Iberostar Grand Paraiso Beach in Mexico, I feel this team of Star Friends excelled in entertaining guests. I feel connected to the resort even more because of them. Thank you all.

Not sure what sort of succession plan Iberostar has in place but Kiki & G-Money need to be considered for management positions. They clearly have the skills and personalities. It would also be great to return to the resort and see more local Jamaicans in management positions.

I really have nothing but good things to say about this resort. It was my first time to this resort, but not my first to an Iberostar. I’ve been to numerous all-inclusive resorts, including the Grand in Mexico, which I also loved but I would definitely return to the Grand Rose Hall.
We met numerous retuning guests. Clearly the staff are doing something right. That being said, we are hoping the Iberostar implements a loyalty offering incentives to returning guests. Why not reward customer loyalty & guarantee the return!

Please also be assured that we hear your concerns as it related to the prices of our Spa Services. We will also immediately pass on your concerns to our Entertainment team, regarding the volume of the live band in the theatre – we are sorry that you had not mentioned it whilst you were in the theatre to a staff member. We do regular spraying for mosquitoes outside, but during rainy days, we encourage guests to use an insect repellant for sitting outdoors on their balcony. No doubt, we will look into your suggestion of using mosquito netting.
