Owner description: Cinnamon Hill's diverse elevations offer a great combination of both links style and inland golf. Feel the cool ocean spray on your cheeks as you play alongside the Caribbean Sea, then hear the wind whistling through the pines as you tee-off on holes 16 and 17, 350 feet above sea-level. On the closing stretch, tight fairways are dotted with treacherous, strategically placed bunkers, inspiring the most competitive player’s best game. This is a test you will enjoy - enchanting panoramas framing your every shot. The Caribbean Sea can be viewed from 17 of the 18 holes and the one hole where it’s absent a majestic waterfall awaits your errant tee shot. The waterfall is the site where they filmed James Bond’s Movie Live and let Die and is only one component of the great history that is on the course. On hole #14 the winter home of country music superstar Johnny and June Cash can be seen from the fairway. As an added enhancement, one of the course’s biggest assets happens to be its expert caddies. I have has the opportunity to play some nice courses and Cinnamon Hill is a great course. It was beautifully maintained and very challenging. The caddies bring a lot to the game. They are very friendly and show you the cool side of golf in Jamaica. Worth every penny.

My husband and I played a round at Cinnamon Hill and enjoyed the varied terrain on the course. There were 2 holes that ran along the water and had very nice views. The hilly part of the course was very challenging. Our caddy pointed out the Johnny Cash house and a hole that was featured on a James Bond film with a very tropical landscape. Fun course, we would play it again.

We stayed in the Hilton Rose Hall for a few nights, so my boyfriend played a round of 18holes. The course in his opinion was very good (i can't really comment on this as a non golfer), but i went along to drive the buggy. As my boyfriend was a lone golfer, he played against the caddy who was very good. Whilst driving round the course, the caddy told us lots of history of the course (live and let die was filmed there, and Jonny cash had a house there, plus it was a sugar/cotton plantation), so lots to admire and enjoy for the non-golfer.

The course was beautiful. Right on the course is Johnny Cash's property which apparently is still in the family and a more modern property belonging to the owner of Cinnabon. Caddies were great, very helpful. Views were great and some holes very challenging. Really enjoyed it.

The 15th hole brought me back for a second round! This is a beautiful course and we had great caddies. Both 9s were impressive, but we seemed particularly taken with the back 9. The 18th hole is quite difficult to finish with. Enjoy!
