We traveled to Jamaica with other family for our sons wedding. We had so much fun. The beach Resort was very relaxing and offered beautiful views from the rooms of either the ocean, pool or gardens. There was so much food to choose from at every meal. The staff were amazing everywhere we went, whether on the resort or on the excursions. The staff were very friendly and helpful all the time. I was especially impressed with the professional way the staff handled some very rude and ignorant Americans who were also there for a wedding. They know who they are and should be ashamed of themselves. They were verbally abusive to the staff and were loud about it. The staff members continued to show respect to them and rushed them through so the rest of us were no longer bothered by them. We had a great time and will definitely be going back. Thank you for making our vacation so wonderful!

Room Tip: All the rooms were good. I never heard any complaints.

Just got back from a six day vacation this resort. We were a group of 18 25-30 year olds looking for an affordable vacation with a nice pool and good food. The entire vacation went amazingly smooth and there are very few negative I could find. To start off it is only 15 minutes from the airport which is extremely convenient. Most importantly the entertainment staff, bartenders and wait staff were the nicest I've ever experienced at an all inclusive. There were tons of fun things to do during the day at the pool (water aerobics, volleyball, darts, etc) and at night during the shows and beach parties. The bartenders were very responsive and would basically make you anything you asked for (I often ordered "a vodka drink with limo that's not too sweet"). Santino at the lobby bar makes a mean "breakfast special" with espresso and rum cream. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the lobby, music and theater bar had top shelf American liquor (absolut, johnny walker, dewars, tanquerray, bombay sapphire, kahlua, etc).

As far as food goes twice during the week they had beach BBQs for lunch which was an nice break from the buffets. It was very easy to get reservations (even for all 18 of us) at the a la carte restaurants. Hibachi was really fun and Cajun and the Steak house both had great food options. The buffets had a huge variety and there was some form of food available 24/7.

The rooms, grounds, pool and beach are not fancy but well maintained. If you are looking for something more luxurious go to the Suites or Grand resort. We were looking for some place a little younger and cheaper so this was perfect. The rooms are all you need (you're never in them anyway), the pool is a bit dated but it's got a beautiful view of the ocean and the beach is about 20 feet for the pool which makes it very convenient to bounce back and forth. The only negative is the beach is a little hard, it's mostly just sand on concrete, and the water isn't totally blue but it never bothered us enough not to spend the mornings there. There is a disco at the Suites resorts which is a 5 minute walk or 1 minute golf cart ride. It is a huge club with tons of seating, a huge dance floor and an amazing DJ. We would usually go to the show, make a stop at the "music bar" and then head over to the disco which made for a great night out without leaving the resort. There is also a water sports company on site which offers a great sunset booze cruise for about $40 which I would highly recommend.

If you are looking for a fun resort with a great entertainment crew (shout out to our man Easy Breezy), very edible food, great drinks and a cheap price I would highly recommend this resort.

Room Tip: If you want to go to bed early I recommend getting a room further from the lobby and restaurants cau...

Had a wonderful vacation at this resort. Went with my fiancé and my parents and there are really no complaints. Both of our rooms were very large with great ocean views from the balcony.

Everyone was accommodating and the resort was really beautiful.

The pool was huge and clean. Great pool bar with great bartenders. The food was really impressive. I have been to many all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica as well as different islands and I can honestly say that the food was the best I have had. Great variety and most importantly, great quality. AMAZING breakfast with tons of different fresh juices, fruits and really anything you could possibly want. The beach is very nice as well. Easy trip from the airport.

Again, no complaints and would recommend this resort to couples, friends, families, etc!

Our trip to Jamaica was amazing. We all had such a great time. I would highly recommend the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort to everyone. The resort itself was very very clean and well kept. The rooms were spacious and although we booked an ocean viewroom, we ended up with an oceanfront room which was an extra bonus. The food was delicious and plentiful and there was always some place you could go, anytime of the day or night, if you were hungry. The beach was awesome, probably the best of the three Iberostars. And the staff were absolutely top notch. So friendly and fun, we made many new friends. The service was exceptional! This is by far, the best vacation I have been on

We traveled with 5 other families for our daughter's senior spring break for 8 days and selected the resort based on the advice of a travel agent. The location is fabulous--just 15 or 20 minutes from the airport and right on the beach. Of the 3 Iberostar resorts, this one has a reputation for being the party place while the suites next door are a little more quiet. Overall, everything is pretty clean, although there was a visible layer of suntan oil floating around the pool stairs on a daily basis. Common areas are reasonably maintained though signs of age are there. But there is a be achy and fun vibe throughout the resort.

The activities and entertainment staff are excellent-very talented and a whole lot of fun. They do an amazing job of getting as many people involved as possible in the activities, which are plentiful for all ages, and making it high energy around the clock. The servers & bartenders are gracious and very accommodating. The front end staff is friendly, but we experienced quite a bit of disorganization. Check in was fairly efficient but we were given conflicting information between the front desk and staff in other areas.

The common areas of the hotel are very nice, however, there isn't a single thing upscale about the rooms. The beds are hard, no feather toppers here, and the pillows are bricks of foam-don't expect your head to sink in. The drawers didn't fully close in our room, we had to call maintenance for a drain problem in both the sink and the tub. The hairdryer is a relic from 1975 and though it turned on, the hose wasn't long enough to actually hold up to your head and see into the mirror at the same time. The ironing board wouldn't open to a standing height and stay put at the same time. There is also a strong musty-moldy smell throughout the rooms and guests have very limited control of the air-conditioning in the rooms so they tend towards humid.

The food is reasonably good, especially for an all-inclusive. Drinks are fairly watery at the pool, better at the lobby bar.

Despite the rooms being underwhelming, we had a really, really good time at this resort. If we return, we would definitely stay at the suites next door, which are much more close to what we expected. For an additional $60 per night, you get a bigger, more modern, upscale room with better amenities and top shelf liquor. Unfortunately, there were not enough rooms available for our entire group which is the only reason we didn't move this trip.

Room Tip: We had a standard ocean view which overlooked both the pool and the ocean. While the view was great...

We just returned from the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach. It was incredible! The service, the food, the location, the beach everything was great! If you are trying to decide between the Beach, Suites and Grand, here is what I found out. The Beach was great not too many kids, but some, wonderful beach and plenty of restaurants, great Star Friends and staff! The Suites has the water park if you have kids this would give them lots to do. The beach in front of the Suites is Rocky but you could deal with it. They are just little rocks. The Grand was just that, GRAND. However, it was not for me, a little too quiet. The beach is very nice, the sand is soft and white, and the water warm and crystal clear in front of the 3 hotels. No matter which you choose, you make a good choice. Any questions I will gladly answer.

Room Tip: We had an ocean front but it got a little loud with the weddings that were right in front of us. Bu...

We booked this as a family vacation with 13 of us. We were confident that it was going to be a good trip since most of the reviews were positive, and we know that short of being assigned personal butler some people just aren't going to be satisfied. We have done a number of all inclusives in the Dominican, Cuba, and Jamaica but this is the first resort where we likely will make a point of returning to as it was everything we could have asked for.

The beach was fantastic with lots of shade, and its nice they have a snorkeling area so you don't necessarily have to take a day trip to see some fish. The kayaks and sailboats were cool and a few of us went up parasailing.

The pool bar was great, and clearly they work hard to keep up. The beach restaurant was really good and the jerk chicken was awesome! Not hot, just delicious. Everything was noticed to be very clean for the most part and clearly there was continual upgrades that were being done in a discreet and unassuming manner.

The staff was so hard working and very conscientious of making the guests have a great experience. We noticed Cedryk from the pool bar, Sergio the restaurant manager, and the Star friends in particular. Folks, these people work hard and deserve positive recognition.

The housekeeping staff did a great job and our room was always clean and well cared for.

We always make sure we bring money to tip. I liked that the staff weren't standing around making it painfully clear they were looking for a tip as we've experienced in other resorts. We spent mmore on tips here than at any other resort for 2 main reasons:

- It wasn't necessarily expected all the time
- Virtually every staff member works long, hard days to make everyone happy

The food here was great, and we really didn't have a bad meal. The Japanese was neat and all, but its just not really my thing. Uncle Tony's Steakhouse made a delicious steak, and the Cajun restaurant was a refreshing change. We have nothing bad to say about the food in this resort. The staff works hard and managers could be seen taking away plates to ensure everyone's meal was as good as they could provide.

The kid's nightly shows were also fun, but sadly I didn't see much for the adult shows later since we were usually bushed at the end of every day. They're held inside so there is very little noise from the show late at night.

Seriously, I don't recall having to wait for a drink, coffee, or water, nor was a build up of dirty plates ever allowed. The restaurant/buffet staff is hard working and friendly. I can't even begin to express how great they made it!

This resort was everything we could have wanted and the first one I really want to go back to. This place has it all for our family. Great staff, beautiful grounds, great beach, plenty of amenities, and great food & booze.

Our only concern was dropping $45 for Wi-Fi for the week. We paid it, but didn't like it. Just felt a bit gouged, but really it's not something we HAD to have. I've spent $45 in far more foolish ways, however. So its not a big thing with me.

I'm not going to even mention bugs or other uncontrollable factor that may happen in a Caribbean resort. I don't believe the bug population should be eradicated so tourists can have a better holiday. We noticed those tiny bugs that show up if you leave food/drink on the counter, but have never been somewhere they didn't show up.

We didn't notice mosquitos at all, nor any other type of bug. It's a non-issue for us, and good luck for those who are striving to go through life never seeing a bug again.

If you go here, you're likely going to have a good time. If you don't I would really be interested in why you didn't.

We'll be going back if Jamaica finds itself in our travel plans again.

Room Tip: We had the top floor. We liked it and never had noise issues.
