Just had a lovely meal at Korks and can't understand how chippy cafes get rated best in Otley when there are good restaurants to choose from. I travel extensively & eat out all around the country but I'm always pleased to return to Korks. Food excellent & staff brilliant. I have no hesitation in recommending it.

“A Korking Experience”
Reviewed 15 June 2013

We had an evening meal here prior to attending the folk club which is in the same venue.
We were cheerfully greeted by ebulient waitress 'Becky' and given the a la carte menu as well as being shown the specials menu.
The menus are wide ranging and interesting and the wine list reasonably wide ranging and comprehensive. We were spoilt for choice but I decided to go for the 'biggy' - fillet steak. Now bear in mind, my local butcher does a stunnig fillet steak so the test was on! It was cooked to my specification (rare), which is particularly important with steak, and very tender.
In fact both our meals were of high quality and the service from all the staff was splendid.
The place has a nice atmosphere about it too.
The prices weren't cheap but neither were they extortionate.
We shall certainly remember to eat here first again if we make a return visit to the folk club.

“Steak and Wine deal!”
Reviewed 27 May 2013

A great night at Korks taking advantage of the steak and wine deal. Two steaks and a reasonable bottle of wine for £25! Great value and good food. Becky and her crew made sure we were well looked after and gave us some advise about the menu. Excellent value for a Bank Holiday weekend.

“Interesting and tasty menu”
Reviewed 20 April 2013

The food is well cooked and the menu contains some interesting twists on the usual fare. We have eaten there several times and had something different and enjoyable each time.

“Great troubadour night, poor food”
Reviewed 19 March 2013

Visited korks a while ago to for a troubadour night.Really enjoyed the music and had Great night but dinner beforehand was very poor.two course set menu for 18,00 isnt expensive but not cheap either.Starter fishcakes were doorsteps of potato with little if any fish with i think was meant to be hollandaise sauce on top.Not homemade and tasted rank.
Main was pork belly which has been deep fried to give the crackling extra crunch but completely dried out the pork -not good
One bottle of wine and a couple of pints each lead to a bill for 3 of £90.00.
Its very misleading to say Korks food is good. Its not, its hearty with no real skill and no presentation and is a one time experience only.will be going back for the music though
