“really good meat.... and okay service”
Reviewed 19 January 2014

This is a nice restaurant-attentive service and the food was well presented and prepared. The only issue is finding the venue-it's down backstreets and you really need to park your car up and get a taxi-as it impossible to find unless you are a local.

This is a nice bistro style restaurant

The meats are very good indeed and probably the largest steak that you'll get anywhere-perfectly tender.

The wines are very adequate and reasonably priced.

Not a great restaurant but a very good restaurant with nice attentive staff

“Very very very expensive”
Reviewed 21 December 2013

As most people, we eat out regularly but only eat at 'special restaurants' maybe 6 -8 times a year or so......2 weeks ago we ate here with some friends and I was amazed.....and not in a good way....the restaurant is comfortable enough, well lit and with friendly staff.....but....

As a creature of habit...at an Argentinian restaurant I will 9 times out of 10 have a fillet steak.....not hard to get wrong...but mine had a lump of gristle in it :-( that steak was 26 euros!!! Oh and sides....they cost extra...5 euros for a small plate of frozen fries.....5 euros for 4....yes 4! mushrooms with a little garlic and oil scattered over them and 5 euros for 'roasted red peppers' which I stupidly assumed would be cooked on the grill...but no it was a large tinned pepper laid flat with a little garlic sprinkled on top....and the garlic looked suspiciously like the bags of frozen garlic that you buy in Mercedona for lazy chefs ...we assumed that 2 people could shared each side but no the portion sizes were not large enough...so yes...my main was over 40 euros!

Very, very, very overpriced...only go if you've money to burn as La Linea has other wonderful restaurants that knock the socks of this one! Oh and the clientele were all English....should've taken that as a sign....the locals and savvy tourists go elsewhere...

“Waiter coughing all over food with Flu”
Reviewed 20 December 2013

Used to frequent this restaurant years ago, the food was fair value for the price. Visited again this December, the place was empty with 3 waiters working. The one waiter which attempted to serve us had the flu. While serving drinks he was coughing directly into our open glasses. I could not believe it... A truly vulgar experience.

“Tapas to die for”
Reviewed 7 December 2013

Got into this wee bar late one night, and although they probably wanted to close, we weren't made to feel unwelcome. Service polite and prompt, their spicy Chicken bites were out of this world, and the selection of different tapas was worth a visit of its own. I'll be back to sample some more of the excellent Spanish food as soon as I can find an excuse to leave sunny England...
