After a long day of visit in Gibraltar, we decided to stay there for the night but any hotel in the city was to expensive for us. Then we found this great hotel, with pool and free wifi just a rock away. 73€ a night with breakfast, we book a room at 3pm for the same night with the requirement for it to be extra-quiet.

And it was worth the money ! As a quiet room we got an upgrade for free: Room with view on Gibraltar rock.

Free ameneties, great bed and bathroom and, last but not least, extra-clean !

To top that up, a really good breakfast. We'd absolutly be back any time !

stayed here for 1 night in june ,it was nice with good sized room and nice clean bathroom, minibar with cold drinks in the room free of charge and a lounge where you may have free soft drinks and bottled water anytime during the day very good value hotel ,20mins walk from the gib border or just 5 euro,s in a cab.breakfast was nice fresh, good selection of meats and cheeses, pate etc nice pastries and fruit.the only downside of this hotel is the pool area it is small and not very nice a few uncomfortable sun beds with no shade and no parasols provided, with a bit of thought it could be improved and more attractive.i would stay here again in winter not in summer because of the pool.

A few of the reviewers said the neighborhood was sketchy...I would just say rather unkempt. The hotel was great; clean, tidy, well located, but the area shows some signs of neglect (large weeds, trash strewn). I did not feel unsafe, but the area is not appealing. However, the proximity to Gibraltar is great. 15 minute walk along a beach to the border. I did not see any restaurants in La Linea that would interest me, so we ate in Gibralter. A tour guide (Stewart) from "Official Rock Tours" approached us in Gibralter and we did hire him to show us the rock, apes, tunnels. I thought it was a great value, since it includes free mini-bar and Wifi in the lobby.

Room Tip: I found on-street parking around the corner, rather than pay the AC parking fee. Car was fine and safe.

We stayed in this hotel as it is well located to visit Gibraltar (around 1,5km far) and at a very good price. It wasn't easy to find, as it is located in a secondary street. Be warned that the neighborhood is kind of rough, but honestly speaking all La Linea seemed a tad dodgy...
The check-in was done quickly and we were given some good information on how to get to Gibraltar.
The rooms were surprisingly nice: modern looking, comfortable and with a nice balcony, turned to the bay and Gibraltar. There was a mini-bar, but unfortunately no kettle for coffee or tea.
The bathrooms were recently renovated and with plenty of amenities.
There is a swimming-pool (small one), but is was empty, and frankly speaking the whole space is not very inviting.
Concerning internet, it was paid in the room. This seems to be the standard in Spain, and we find it hard to accept.
Breakfast was very good. There was choice of tortilla, cereal, bread, cheeses, charcuterie, cakes, fruit. All was fresh and tasty.

We stayed here for the purpose of visiting Gibralter, and in retrospect we should probably have passed by! However, that is not the hotels fault! We did find it difficult to find (googles fault I think)
and it is not in a very pretty area, but the balcony does have a very good view of the Rock. Rooms were adequate, as was breakfast, relative to the prices charged. We decided to walk into Gibralter for dinner, as the border was only 15 minutes away. However, having crossed the border it was all very grey, high rise flats, and reminded me of the more dodgy areas in large English industrial towns. After walking for approx. another 20 mins or so, we finally found the first signs of life, in what I assume was the social centre of the town!
It was not very sociable, and after a quick meal in an Indian restaurant (which was not bad in fairness) we grabbed a taxi and returned to the hospitality of Spain. However, if you fancy a similar experience, then this hotel is ok for an overnight stay. Alternatively, it would be fine for someone in the area on business.

Room Tip: I think all rooms to the front have small balconies with views of the Rock and Bay
