“Savoury food, excellent service in a small off the beaten path restaurant”

La Dunia provided my wife, son and I an excellent experience. The food was wonderful. You know you are in a good place to eat when each person is arguing that one of their dishes is the best of the meal. La Dunia is not fancy but we were greeted warmly and served a wonderful, savoury, meal at a reasonable price. What more can one ask for?

It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a Moroccan meal, and being so close to Africa, we thought we would give it a try. We are very glad we did!

This is a hole-in-the wall place near the frontier, and while it was chilly when we got to the restaurant, the welcome couldn't have been warmer. We were the only ones in the place and our waitress/cook was quick to turn on the heater and make us feel at home.

With her help, we ordered a variety of dishes and each one was yummier than the last. It is a hallmark of a great dinner that each of us was convinced that his or her dish was the best!! Of course, my tangine with beef, plums, and almonds was really the best. I will give a slight edge on the starter to my son who picked the chicken pie with cinnamon.

Everything was reasonably priced and served with a smile. This was the best meal we had on our brief visit to the area.

Been here a few times now. Great, inexpensive Moroccan food, and always a wonderful, friendly service. I recommend the tagines and cous-cous', but they have a number of other dishes which are also very tasty. Their menu is even translated into English (great for those whose Spanish is not very good).
