We've wanted to try here for ages but never seem to find it and end up somewhere else. There is a directional sign in the square nearby but always seems to point me up another street. Anyway, we were at a loose end, desperate to get out after 3 days of rain. We know Teramo is never terribly busy on a Thursday evening but thought we'd try it. Didn't arrive until 8pm...(we learnt the perils of arriving before then long ago), even so we were entirely on our own until 8.50!
A nice atmosphere, good restaurant music, no TV!!! yeah.....very attentive service, and best of all, in an empty restaurant....really good food! We seriously thought this might have been a mistake, how can they possibly serve great food with so little custom??? Well, it was great, I took the recommended entrecote and my husband had a mixed grill (actually I was quite envious).
Two downsides, no pecorino by the glass?? In Abruzzo??? and the coffee wasn't great, I think the first pull of the day.
But, great value, excellent food, good service and atmosphere (even with only 2 of us for the first 50 minutes). We'll definitely be back.
