Twelve Glenmalure Pines is beautifully surrounded by The Wicklow Mountains in the valley.
It is a comfortable, modern and huge wooden chalet with two bedrooms and two bathrooms plus an extra toilet.
It is very spacious and you can easily warm yourselve with the woodburner or ceilingheater.
The showers are very good too.
The kitchen is also very well provided.
The best thing is probably the view on the deck.
One gets never bored looking to the green hills and mountains and listen to several birds and cows.
About one thing we were less satisfied: Cathy defenitely did not have enough time to clean the whole cabin.
The tabs in the bathroom and kitchen were not clean and neither were the glasses in the kitchen and neither was the sink.
We cleaned it ourselves before use.
The beds were very good and the sheets and towels were clean and soft.
It might be a good idea if Ron can mention on the website how to find Glenmalure Pines.
I can already tell you to navigate to "Glenmalure Golfclub" is the best way to find it.
Great place to stay. Such a lovely location. The cabin itself was spacious and had everything we needed. Loved the dvds! Very close to rathdrum and the lovely glendalough. There was a lot of barking from the dogs next door in number 20.perhaps a word with the owner...
it's a great place. A home away from home. We will definitely return.
Glorious unimpeded views of mountains and forests. Red kites circling over the lodge, deer and rabbits in the neighbouring field.
The lodge is very comfortable with ample seating and generously equipped with crockery, cutlery and glasses. Lovely deck with gas barbecue, again well provided with furniture for al fresco eating..
The only slight drawback may occur if travelling with young children and wished to play ball or similar outside, there is no green area available for games.
We had a lovely holiday, exceeding our expectations, even the weather was exceptional.

My wife and I stayed for a week at the end of September, friends joining us for the last three nights. We loved the cottage - It is built in the style of a Swiss Chalet, lots of beautiful wood, wood floors and a log burning fire in the lounge which we used every day. The cottage is spacious, and has everything one would need and the beds were very comfortable. There is a huge surrounding balcony walkout area with spectacular views of the valley, which is Apparently the longest glacial valley in Europe. The wildlife and birds are spectacular with Red Kites and Ravens seen every day kiting above the valley. Also the whole area is very scenic, like a mini Switzerland! If you are looking for a quiet relaxing time this is the perfect spot!
