At recommendation from our host we drove the short distance to this OLD pub from Laragh. Solid food that was certainly a few ticks up from basic pub grub. We were still getting the hang of protocol - who takes the food order? Do you go up for your pints? In the end it all worked out. Dinners were tasty and well prepared; chicken, gravy, mashed potatoes was delicious and good value. I ordered a Chinese chicken(?!?!) dish that was very well done. Take the dead end road to see the Glenmalure waterfall and learn a it about the interesting history of this area.
