Wilde selection of breakfast menu, they serve gluten free pancakes too with blackberry.:-D
Lots of hiking options nearby, go to see Glendalough, Glenmalure , and it's an excellent starting point for the Wicklow Way if you are up for it:)

We stayed @Stirabout Lane last week-end and it was just ... fantastic.
Rooms are really trendy, cosy and romatic. We had an amazing breakfast. Daphne, the owner, gave us a homely welcome. I highly recommend this B&B and I will go back with my children very soon !

Absolutely fantastic! On entering this accommodation myself and my partner were pleasantly surprised at how spacious and beautiful the house actually was, Daphne, the owner greeted us and showed it around. We were given a choice of rooms and offered tea and coffee on arrival. The rooms were spectacular, each one with it's own decor, tv/wifi facilities and tea/coffee making facilities. We also noticed in our handbook on arrival the option of a pack lunch or picnic being available if we were to venture out during the day. From our arrival until we checked out the next day we felt so at ease, everything was so comfortable and accessible. Definitely one of the nicest places I have ever stayed and very reasonably priced too. 5 stars for sure!!

Room Tip: All rooms were beautiful, we didn't hear a sound!

A beautiful cosy B&B with a lovely homely welcome from Daphne. A lovely open fire greeted us and tea and coffee was offered. Very comfortable bed and a great nights sleep was had. Great choice for breakfast to cater for all needs. Highly recommended.

You can't fault this lovely B&B. You are made feel at home, not like a paying guest. The rooms are warm, comfy and stylish, the food is so good, the garden is lovely. Daphne, the owner and person goes the extra mile, literally. She really wants you to enjoy your stay. Highly recommended.

We stayed only one night on a short break in Wicklow. Rathdrum is a characterful town and I picked this B&B from the internet because it seemed charming also. It was that and much more. Daphne, the host, is cheerful, welcoming and totally in charge of things. The attention to detail in the bedroom, bathroom and the common rooms is impressive and surpasses that of many four star hotels. The quality and choice of breakfast fare are also up to (good) hotel standards. But few hotels provide the relaxed atmosphere and the help, advice and general chat which together make this a real gem, a perfect retreat for people from all parts who want to experience Irish hospitality at its very best.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are quieter but do require more stair climbing.

We made a reservation for a different B&B in the area, but somehow the dates got mixed up and the owners were out of town, so they sent us to Daphne. Even though it was last minute, she was so sweet and welcoming, and made us a wonderful breakfast in the morning before we headed out for more adventures. Even though it was a very short stay, I would definitely recommend the Stirabout. It was right in town only doors away from a few dining options, very comfortable, and Daphne was great.
