“A Day Trip To Genting Highland”
Reviewed 18 February 2013 via mobile

Take a day visit with family on 2nd Day of Chinese New Year 2013, we drive till cable car station, cost us RM16.00 for two way per pax, it's accepatble price but unfortunately due to holiday season, it took us 1.5 hrs before we can board the cable car. Reach the top, it's full of visitor like fiesta. Don't go on holiday or weekend, lesson learn. Trying finding ways around, once out of cable car, there is no signboard showing direction. Manage to get around after several turns, indoor games packed with visitor due to foggy conditions outside, but indoor games generally for kids. Outdoor games, mostly closed due to weather. For those who have guts, try space shotmand flying dragon which give us a good trill and family bonding to talk about. We did take corkscrew and spinner but we end up see the world going around, will not take the ride again, it's headache not trill. It's good trip for the games and weather but the food are horribly high price, way too high for tourist spot. An 3in1 coffee cost RM5.00/cup, what a deal. Overall, it's good day trip uphill.

“Skyway ride offers an outstanding view!”
Reviewed 17 February 2013 via mobile

We took the skyway from Awana up to Genting Highlands to go to the indoor theme park. We faced the hill on the way up and faced away from the hill on the way down. Next time, I think I'll do it the other way around because it might be a little less scary that way!

Nonetheless, both ways provided amazing views, all the way to the city! We were not bored at all on the slow and steady ride.

The indoor theme park itself was a little disappointing for me because my baby was 3cm too short for all the rides except the carousel (min 76cm), but I couldn't figure out where to pay for the carousel-only ride and the attendant was unhelpful.

So all we went on was the Skyway, but that was in itself worth the trip! Highly recommended. If I could review only the Skyway, I'd give it 5 stars.

“Go Get There Go Genting”
Reviewed 16 February 2013

Genting Highlands is a must-see attraction when visiting Malaysia. One whole day may not be enough if you really would want to see all available attractions. One option is to book for a night stay in one of those world-class hotels up there. It is about an hour bus ride from KL Sentral (the tansport central terminal of Kuala Lumpur) so get there early because there's long queue at the SkyWay (cable car) station going to the top. There's just endless number of people going there... An air-con bus ride (first trip of Resorts World Genting Bus is at 8 am) will cost 10RM one-way but better yet to take advantage of the 60RM package which include round-trip bus transfer, two-way SkyWay rides plus choice of buffet lunch or 1 out-door ride ticket. I personally recommend the buffet lunch at Coffee Terrace which is highly superb !!
Oh by the way, the cable car rides in Genting is heart-pounding than the experiences I had in HK and Singapore.
At Genting Highlands one will find a world-class resort casino, indoor theme park for kids, an outdoor theme park for all ages, shows, entertainments, bowling, other games, malls and shopping, restaurants and whole lot more plus a cave temple for nature and religious seekers.
We were not able to see clearly some good outdoor attractions because it was raining and foggy ... but the windy, cold weather up there is an attraction in itself.
Go get there Go Genting. Be prepared !

“Amazing Rides with family”
Reviewed 15 February 2013

Genting highlands is on hill and going by one of the best run cable car is amazing.the weather up is cold and windy and you must dress accordingly. There are enough well maintained rides both for kids and adults and some not available anywhere.Do not hurry as you get enough time for multiple rides. One of the best maintained theme park with 2-3 rides under maintenance.
