The good bout this hotel is that it has it's Indoor theme park, lots of foods (very expensive) & breeze check out system.

Now the bad. I mention here again, EXPENSIVE food. The worst of all I have to wait for more than 2 hrs to check in. WTH??!! My friend book Resort Hotel nearby & check in completed in 20mins. Tip is don't book through travel agencies & try to check in yourself. Book online.

Last time at Genting I stayed at the genting hotel and had great time, but this time around I stayed at the first world and boy what a dive, the room was facing another room with Alleyway in between which was filthy so had to keep curtains closed but this then made the already baron room more dull, In fact I have stayed in better 1 star B&Bs, no fridge, no tea coffee nothing just a bed and bathroom.

Ok I was told when I complained to staff that they are standard rooms, and as most people only use them for sleeping they are kept to the basics.

If u ever go to Genting try not to stay at First World Hotel. It was one of the most Horrible hotel I have ever stayed in. Value for money is zero.
After a confirmed booking and payments made they still make u wait in queue for about 1-2 hrs for ur room...carry ur own luggage....terrible food quality and taste...no extra towels provided for children..carry ur own.

Room Tip: Don't stay in this hotel..ever

First World Hotel has got its own Indoor Theme Park. Indoor Theme Park is mostly for kids except ‘HAUNTED’. There are video stimulated games, bowling, some small rides.
Once you enter Indoor Theme park, you get a feeling as if you are lost  but then you can check with security guards to go to Hotel Reception.

At Hotel reception, it’s a huge lobby with hundreds of people waiting for their turn to come. Good part was we had World Club room booking (booked it from internet and got a good deal from agoda.com)
For World Club rooms, no token system no long queuing, direct check-in from counter 1, 2 and 3. Otherwise it takes 2 hours just for check-in.

Room is good and has all the facilities which a 4* room should have but no AirCon, well you don’t need Aircon at Genting, the climate is fantastic here. It was chilling but wonderful climate. Roaming in such climate was an experience in itself.
We were on 23rd Floor of the building and from there we could see the mountains way below us covered with fog. Sun rise view was exception from this floor. Sky was orange in color and then there was orange disc, in the sky. It was morning Sun with not much of rays. The fog in the mountain was moving as it was slightly windy. It looked as if the mountain is covered by a white cloth and someone is pulling the cloth uncovering the mountain.
Checked-out of hotel was pretty simple, just put your door key in the machine and you are done. You can put your luggage in locker room at hotel reception FOC.

Breakfast
For World Club room guests there is separate breakfast lounge at 24th floor. It has almost all dairy products and other Malaysian breakfast items but all for non-vegetarians. You can also get breakfast at other locations in the Indoor theme park. For lunch and dinner, there are many options, Malaysian, Chinese, Western, Indian Vegetarian etc.

Outdoor Theme Park
Park opens at 10:00 am from Tuesday to Thursday and at 9:00 from Friday to Monday.
Outdoor theme park, all day wrist band is RM46 per person. This is for all rides in Outdoor theme park and as many number of times you want till 10:00 PM.
There are other options also available for tickets like Indoor + Outdoor theme park etc.
Fast moving rides and cool climate is experience in itself.

Room Tip: Try to get good deal from internet for World club

Looks superb from outside, but looks could be deceiving. It didn’t meet our expectations at all. We had to wait for around an hour or so at the lobby to get our room. Rooms are very small & basic. It looked pretty sad & sort of felt unclean. Only plus point is that it’s conveniently located. The indoor theme park is inside the hotel itself. But the park itself is quite outdated except for a few rides in outdoor them park.
