Oh my goodness we couldn't believe our eyes when we saw this place! You never know what you are going to get when you book somewhere new but we could not have been more delighted!

Absolutely beautiful "compound", so well maintained and designed, it was hard to leave every day to go and explore the local area, we would have been more than happy to just sit by the pool all day and enjoy the scenery!

The family running the lodges were also delightful, Piera the owner could not have been more helpful to us and I felt sad when we had to leave!

We spent 4 days in Watamu, Piera and her family were incredibly friendly, helpful and happy to answer questions about the local area etc. The breakfasts are also amazing so always opt for those!!!

The location I thought was perfect, a little off the main road and a tuc-tuc to the beach (if you don't fancy walking) is only 100ksh/200ksh.

I would definitely recommend to ANYONE!

Room Tip: The room we had was brilliant, I would assume they are all the same as nothing was sub-standard at t...

Stayed here Dec 2012 with my boyfriend. It is very reasonably priced, in a lovely setting which is nice and quiet. It is a short tuk tuk ride from Watamu where there's the beach and restaurants. The room was great, (clean and comfy), staff were very friendly and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, just the right amount of sociability and privacy. Not forgetting beautiful Lucky the dog! Would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I were moved to this new lodge, due to a booking mess up by the owner of the previous guesthouse. What a great suprise it was for us discover this oasis of peace and serenity! Nice individual bungalows, built and furnished with local materials, in a true Kenyan style but with all the necessary creature comforts. Nice big pool and garden are and a lovely open air lounge where a generous fresh breakfast is served by Piera and her family. The Lodge is not right on the beach but located in the heart of a small local village which gives you a real authentic feel to your visit. A very short tuc tuc ride away are all of the beautiful pristine beaches of Watamu. I highly recommend the lodge and will be sure to stay again if I have the good fortune of returning to Kenya! Thanks to all of you for a great stay!
