We got dropped off here without a reservation - just following Lonely Planet. We stayed two nights. It was kinda rainy so we didn't do any snorkeling, but we rented a motorbike from them both days and toured the island, did a little off-roading which was fun.

The food was great in the restaurant. We particularly liked the pancakes and the Minced Chicken with Thai Herbs. It's not as fast as other restaurants because they come and take your order and go make it. It's a little family run operation.

Stayed in bungalow 1. Didn't hear the road or even people eating in the cafe which we were next too. You do want to swim at high tide, but playing on the flats when the tide is low is great too. And watch the crabs in the morning from the hammocks - they are all over the beach. There is a yoga place next door, but they weren't doing drop-in when we were there but they might be sometimes. Try arranging it in advance. If there are enough people interested they will do a private class or if you are there more than four days you can join in on the retreats.

Beautiful memories from this place...a nice quiet location on a beautiful island. Right across the road from the beach. Compared to some of the other budget bungalows on the island, Pasai Cottages were clean and nicely furnished. The owner and his staff were super friendly. Me and my boyfriend ended up staying here for about a week we were enjoying it so much. We ended up eating most of our meals at their restaurant as well and always had a great meal. I will definitely be returning some day.

We stayed at Pasai Cottage for 3 nights with a small group of friends and had a lovely time. The location is lovely. The guesthouse with small simple thatch-roofed Thai-style bungalows is directly at the road that separates it from the beach, however, on this quiet peaceful island this really isn't an issue. Why? Because there's virtually no traffic passing through aside from the occasional scooter or bicycle driving by. The food at the little restaurant is very good, and the owner is a fun loving and friendly dude. We rented motorbikes and drove around the island which was fun and easy to do ... be careful going off-roading if you don't have the proper vehicle for it, though. The non-paved roads can get slippery/muddy at times. There is a little mosque nearby and when waking up early you can hear chanting in the a.m. right before sunrise ... anyway, I would go back to Pasai Cottage anytime!

Room Tip: I feel all the rooms are good because even when you're close to the road it's not noisy.

The cottages are in great condition, spacious and lovely decorated with a lot of wooden furniture. The food was not good and quite spicy despite we asked to get it not spicy. But finally it's really hard to communicate since the level of English isn't great. They even put a sheet on the table and asked to write everything down what we wanted to order. Later we realized that they do it that way all the time! Breakfast is included but it is simply composed of toast with jam WITHOUT butter and with bad artificially tasting juice.
The location on Yao Noi is great, you can reach several beaches and restaurants by motorbike in less than 10 minutes. We were told that Pasai beach is supposed to be the best beach on Yao Noi. We were disappointed! Swimming was almost not possible since there were lots of boats and even mud everywhere on the ground. If there was low tide you have to walk 50m to reach the water and due to the mud it's quite slippy way. We would definitely recommend to rent a motorbike and visit the western part of the island. You can meet many kind native people there and they always have a smile for you. The northwestern coast is particularly great for watching sunset surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Phang Nga Bay! Don't miss that!

We visited pasai cottages twice for diner and breakfast. The location is wonderful, there is a nice view on the sea. The staff was very friendly (mother and daughter) although the English level wasn't great. The food was really good and the atmosphere was nice. They also have cottages to sleep but we don't know how it looks like. The prices were good value for money.
