Outstanding Accomodation in a Panoramic Setting

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 19 May 2024via mobile
This is an outstanding resort. Our villa was extremely comfortable, well designed with a stunning view.

The food was excellent as was the serving team.

Everyone on the Island was professional, caring, friendly and polite. Our Guest Experience Manager (GEM) was Mason who was outstanding. He greeted us daily at breakfast and any request was completed effortlessly and with a smile. Well done to Louise and her team.

For us, this was a perfect holiday.

Blissful relaxation surrounded by nature. The perfect place to unwind after a very busy wedding week in Sydney for our daughter. We were upgraded on arrival to a beautiful villa with a secondary bedroom /bathroom/relaxation room by the pool. Initially my husband was concerned about the jungle surroundings due to mosquitos but we were not bitten once. Once we relaxed into the beautiful natural environment we couldn’t have been happier. We could also walk to the almost private beach. Unfortunately jellyfish season so couldn’t swim/paddleboard but would be amazing. Always beautifully cleaned and laid out each day by housekeeping. Phenomenal pool with incredible views. Breakfast was fantastic. Any option available. We ate at the Nithan once which was delicious. However definitely book ahead as only a few tables and hard to get a spot. We ate up at the stunning pool restaurant the rest of the nights which was delicious. We loved our stay and the views were out of this world. We went to the sunrise at the top pool one morning which was breathtaking. However our villa also had the most incredible sunrises. The lower bar by the ponds is also a great spot. Great bar staff and cocktails. The Spa was nice but not as relaxing as would have expected. The arrival wasn’t a very zen space and the massages were good, just not amazing. Our son and his girlfriend met us for the last two nights and the staff/personal butler helped us get a private transfer from their resort. What a wonderful way to arrive.Beat all expectations all round. If booking would advise getting a pool with a view. Thank you Six Senses.

Room tip: Get a room/pool with a view. The top pool is beautilful but it was nice to also have our own beautiful space.

Slightly off the beaten track, this resort offers amazing views either from your villa or from the hilltop main pool. The villas are very large and comfortable and allow you to hang out for parts of the day (even though the villas do need some doing up, which is taking place). The resort is large and never feels crowded and has a very relaxing feel. The service is excellent (even though sometimes things get lost in translation) and the concierge was fantastic and very helpful (thank you Margie!). The food options are good (Thai restaurant better than the others), but lacked any wow effects - though the chef table was outstanding and is highly recommendable. Also, I'd recommend doing a boat trip which can offer excellent snorkelling or picnic at remote beaches. Overall we had a very relaxing and enjoyable week in one of the most beautiful settings.

The most amazing hotel - we have already booked to return next year. The location is absolutely stunning, the service is amazing, the staff are very friendly and the food and drink is great particularly the breakfast buffet but every restaurant is stunning
The villa was incredible and the views are unreal.
We did leave with a rather hefty bill for food and drink but it was worth it
I would also recommend the hotel organised speedboat trips to Kho Phi Phi which was great.
The only slight negative were mosquitos but it was manageable and hasn't put us off going back at the same time of year
Special thanks to Napsim for all his help.

The hospitality is remarkable even by Thai standards. The whole resort was staffed with people who were friendly and hospitable. The GM , Mr Sameer Kapur went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. Both he and the GEM , Ms Kat were very helpful. They ensured that our passport pouch which was left behind when we reached our next hotel , Anantara , Ko Yao Yai, was sent over by boat and taxi. Remarkable !
Chef Dawa was every breakfast at our table , trying to cater to our vegetarian needs.
Overall a lovely experience.
Thank you.
The swimming pool is very small and surprisingly closes at 5 pm which is very odd for a resort.

This resort offers an exceptional experience with its luxurious accommodations and amenities.

Family of 4 visited late March 2024 with a double villa, private pool and jungle view.
Space for everyone to stretch out and the accommodation invites you to spend siignificant time.
Apart from lacking updated TV, USB data ports the Wifi worked well across the property.
We slept well and the pillow menu was a nice touch.
All toiletries provided and of good grade.

Hilltop pool is the protagonist with its stunning views and they don't disappoint.
Wish I could say the same about the Hilltop lunch menu - quality of ingredients were great but the offerings resembled "bar snacks" rather than "lunch" and the pricing is steep for what you get.
It's a shame the pool area closes at 17hr.

Breakfast was abundant and delicious. Loved the optional coffee roasts. Collecting your own fresh egg from the allotment and then have the chef cook it was a positive gesture.

To move around the resort you mostly need a buggy and this is request-able via their app. Normally the wait is less than 10 mins but we experienced up to 20-30 mins due to max occupancy.

Bicycles are free to borrow and I recommend exploring the island. Island is mostly flat except for 2 short ramps and safe. Getting out with the kids was fun and afforded us to taste some local restaurants and bars.

The boat transfer to and fro the resort along with the land based van service was top shelf service and worth it.

Customer Service was 5* all around and found no faults. Everyone provided correct level of attention and personalised support. The lady "June" was professional and did a great job.

We requested a quote for an excursion through the app and unfortunately the hotel could not provide us a trip in time so we booked locally and worked out well.

The beach area is nice and swimmable, except for when there are jellyfish (no fault to the hotel).

Our experience was memorable and recommend this resort.
The two bedroom villa was a wonderful retreat and the in room dining was affordable and plentiful.

Room tip: Property could be challenging for those with mobility issues. You are in the jungle, expect some insects and lizards.
