We enjoyed this place so much last year that we went back again this year.
Make sure you wear your mosquito repellent and bands at all times - the Carmargue (wherever you are) sits amid etangs which equals mosquitos, in fact I'm stunned to see that other comments complain about this (bit like complaining about monkeys in Gibraltar).
The facilities are great - especially if you have small children. The morning exercise classes are super for those who want them, and the pool and sun loungers are well kept. The staff work tirelessly to keep the place clean.
The one restaurant on site is expensive and understaffed - don't bother. The onsite shop is VERY expensive - best to take your basics with you or go to the local supermarket outside of the complex.
The big draw for this place is you are within easy reach of Grau de Roi, Saintes Maries de la Mer, Grand Motte and Aigues Mortes. All these places offer excellent food that is competitively priced, making eating out every night of your holiday a practical possibility.
The powdery sand and clear waters of the Med coast are commensurate with any far flung destination that I have been to and yet you are in mainland Europe - we'll go back again and again and will probably try out other Yelloh sites too.More
