Dianne & Barry were incrediable host, and their B&B home was awesome, (better that some 5Star hotels I've stayed at) & the food was sooooo good.

Overall experience was fantastic, great service, and I would highly recommend to my friends, family & travellers to stay at Wentworth Heights if they were ever around the Gore region.

Thank you Dianne & Barry, you guys are a wonderful people and we wish yous all the best!

Staying with Diane and Barry was a complete pleasure. Accommodations are first classs and you couldn't ask for greater hospitality. I visited Gore primarily to fish and Barry is an excellent guide that will put you on fish.
I look forward to my next trip to NZ and another visit to Wentworth Heights.

Dianne and Barry's bed and breakfast was a lovely treat for us as a family of four (with two daughters aged 13 and 16). We enjoyed the quality of the home and all the amenities provided were of the highest quality. (Better actually than any places we have stayed in and we've stayed in plenty of accommodation types). An extra special point of note is the breakfast - with lovely food choices available like home grown produce prepared and served.
Thank you Dianne and Barry, we loved the opportunity to talk and share travel experiences over breakfast with you, it was a wonderful start to the day and for us on our final leg of our journey.

Thanks so much Raewyn. It was an absolute pleasure to have your family to stay. Your two daughters are just delightful and a credit to you both. Always a pleasure to have such lovely young people in your home. We also enjoyed swapping travel experiences, wish you could have stayed longer.

Fantastic hospitality from Diane and Barry who were also most helpful in all respects with activities and trips. Very comfortable spotlessly clean accommodation including guest lounge with marvelous countryside views. A feast for breakfast. You must try Diane's avocado specialty. Particularly good if you are also fishing in the area.

Thank you so much. We loved having you stay with us and while Stephen was landing Brown Trout we were so impressed at how you made the most of your time to see Southland, including a day trip To Stewart Island. Hope you make it back to Gore again before too long.

I recently used Wentworth Heights as a base while fishing the renowned Mataura River. What was initially a more or less random choice turned out to be a terrific decision.
As hosts, Barry and Diane display both an extremely high level of professionalism and a wonderful warmth and hospitality. Nothing is too much trouble and no detail is overlooked. One leaves with sadness and memories of a friendly welcome, sensational breakfasts, spotless and well-appointed rooms, great fishing, dining and travel advice and above all, a sense that the guest's positive experiences at Wentworth Heights, Gore and NZ are paramount.

Really comfortable room, lovely breakfast and an all round great place to stay. Barry & Diane are perfect hosts and we enjoyed the evening company before heading off to our comfy bed. We'll be back soon to see more of the area and do a lot of fishing.

While staying with Diane and Barry during our sons cricket tournament we experienced rain which cancelled 2 games out of a possible 5 plus extra frustrations! They were amazing offering sympathy and allowing us to see the funny side of events. Their extra touches, e.g. lemon water and chocolates in the room, help yourself fruit basket and varied breakfast were really appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble. They exuded warmth in their care of guests .Fisherman will be in for a real treat!. Anyone fortunate to book here will love their company and stay.

Room Tip: Fitness centre and swimming pool 5 mins drive away

Thanks so much Anne. We know what a frustrating week it must have been for you with the weather having a major effect on the cricket tournament. So pleased your stay with us was enjoyable. "Anne's Coffee Mugs" are proving very popular! It was a pleasure to have your family to stay, and your dedication to exercise is inspiring.
