On the 1st night of our stay 2 of our group ordered a meal at the restaurant. They paid with a 20euro and received no change for the meal, costing 12-15 euros. At 10.45 they asked how long their meal would be and were told that they had received their meal or perhaps someone else had, and here was nothing they could do as the kitchen was now shut. When we tried to discuss this further the receptionist, who had been very rude all evening, and she exploded into a fit of shouting and swearing at one of our party.
The hotel flatly refused to discuss it further over the next couple of days. Generally the other staff members were fine, housekeeping being particularly helpful.
Secondly, make sure you keep a count of your drinks and sign each receipt, and keep them until you settle your account, for your own wallets sake.
I agree with an earlier review about the location, you can't really take a stroll from here, anywhere worth walking to is miles away.
Glad to leave there at the end of our stay and will definitely seek out another hotel, either indepent or from another chain, next time.

The hotel was fine, but the area around it was awful, very industrial with a nuclear power plant right behind the hotel. Websites imply that this hotel has easy access to the train to get you downtown. This is true, but the station where you wait looks like it was abandoned in WWII. There appeared to be no apparent way to get tickets, only a train platform that you wait on, very isolated and all kinds of construction going on. We thought we must be in the wrong place. Also, to get to the train platform, you have to walk around an open sewage treatment plant for quite a bit. The smell was absolutely disgusting. Don't walk to or from the train after eating. When we left Brussels and was coming back no one in the train station in the city seemed to know how to get back to this station. We finally figured it out on our own, by looking at the schedules posted, but this was not a good experience.
