This hotel was exceptionally clean with comfortable bed. Would be great for a family in need of a double and two bunk beds. Basic amenities but great for the price of 55 euro per night. Free parking and wifi. Mountain views. Great shower. The only problem was that it is not staffed all night and it was difficult to get into the hotel at night using the code given, although we finally managed to get the door to open. We checked in around 20:30 but don't know if there is a check in time by which one must get there, so be sure they will stay until you arrive!!!

We spent a night at this hotel. We were attending a wedding and we chose it because it was quite close to the wedding venue. The rooms are very comfortable, everything is brand new and clean and the bed was firm, we slept tight. Breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly. Great price/quality ratio.

This hotel is a bit of an odd bird. It's out in the boonies, with very few options for food in Saint Egreve. Your choice of a few pizza places, a "Flunch" at the big shopping center a mile away, and... that's about it. This is a place for someone who has things to do in the surrounding area, not for spending time in a French town. And for us, that worked out well, since we were in the area for the Tour de France and had to drive to various locations in the region.

Lots of easy parking for cars, nice size room (by French standards), clean, comfortable beds. But very weak air conditioner. Thankfully we were on the first floor so not too bad, but if you were higher up, it could have been pretty uncomfortable.

Friendly check-in staff although you rarely saw them; this hotel seems to be operated remotely. No laundry facilities nearby that I could find, but it was possible to use the closet hangers to dry clothes in the window.

Price was extremely reasonable! Half what you'd pay in downtown Grenoble. Freeway access close by, so easy to get places.

Room Tip: Ask about air conditioning when checking in. We never did find out if our room's A/C was working normally or not.

New hotel in the middle of a developing area north of Grenoble, rooms one side overlook parking and mountains, and other side motorway and mountains. Very well sound proofed. The first time I've been to a hotel without anyone on reception for much of the time. We checked in with the automatic machine, you have to pay for the room in advance, and were given a code which enabled entry to the hotel (and I think to the car park if that had been closed too) and also to one's room. Disconcerting not having anyone there if you have a problem with the room - which we didn't. Both very good, even if basic. Large television screen (which I didn't use). Bathroom very small, but well designed so worked OK. Breakfast OK but not special. Is very close to motorway, but actually a bit of a drive. Nowhere near for dinner, and we ended up eating at the Campanile Hotel (where they have a 10% reduction for those staying at the Arena, we discovered).

Room Tip: Think all rooms much the same, and well sound proofed. Rooms facing parking had lino floors, while those facing motorway had carpet (at least on the floor we were on).
