My husband and I stayed over night on our outward journey to Porec in Croatia at this hotel also booked it for our return journey which turn out to be a night mare , We arrived at the hotel on a sunday afternoon to find it closed after a long car journey from Austria , We looked around to see if anyone was available to tell us when it would be open, But we did find a machine that was surpossed to let you booked in and give out a room key, we tried this machine many, many times but it did not work so we had to wait till the owner arrived , We said to her that we were not aware that this hotel closed and had tried to book in by the machine, she said she had put no details of any guest on the machine so you could not book in by it she was very sharp and abrupt in her manner, well to be honest we were not to happy and my husband said to her why have the machine if you did not use it , She then got very angry waving her hands in air and said get out i don't want you to stay here in front of other guests standing behind us so at that we , walk out saying we would make a complaint when back home which we did to the president of Fast hotels Frederic Hourmant but never got an answer so this hotel we would never recommend to anyone because of the owners behaviour to us and remember we had stayed there on our outward journey we are in our sixties and stayed a other hotels and never been spoken to like that ,well I have worked in hotels for years and you don't treat people that way you soon lose business

This is an excellent place for an overnight stopover - it's 3-3.5 hours from Calais, so if you've left the UK in the early evening it's about the perfect distance. The reception is only supposed to be staffed until 8pm, and we had arranged in advance (easy to do via email) that we would arrive late and collect our key from their machine. However, this was out of order and so unbeknown to us a staff member had stayed late in order to let us in. This charming person gave us the warmest and friendliest welcome imaginable despite the lateness of the hour. Once in, the rooms weren't fancy, but they were scrupulously clean and comfortable. There was a bit of noise from the room above but nothing too desperate, and the site itself was quiet, with plenty of parking and free wi-fi to boot. We were traveling with three children and the hotel had clearly realised this and given us a pair of rooms opposite each other, which was indeed the most convenient option possible. Breakfast the next morning was good value and open from 7am allowing an early start.

We stayed here overnight en route to the Alps. We got caught in the Grand froid and the two and a half hour journey from Calais took 6 hours. However we received the warmest welcome possible even though it was close to midnight when we checked in. Room was spotless and had everything we needed for an overnight stop. Not luxury but exactly what was promised.

My wife and I were traveling by car in Europe, and used this motel for a short stop overnight. It is a modest, basic, clean place. Inexpensive. Plenty of outdoor parking. Perfect wifi in the rooms. If you need to dine, you have to go anywhere else, there is nothing around. Because we were driving, we did not know the exact time of arrival, and we were carefully reading all information to find out if there were any time restrictions for check-in. Nothing in hotel description suggested that, and we booked. We came at 8 pm ti find that the reception was closed and the lady was about to leave. She gave us the key... but we nearly missed her.
Later, in the room, we connected to the internet, and discovered the e-mail from the hotel advising that the reception is closed after 8 pm, and the gave us the phone number... I have no idea how we could call in France without knowing the language.
I would suggest they post the reception hours in the hotel description.
Another good thing to have would be a tea-coffee maker, but it is scares in France.
