This was a great place to stay if you are going to Samos. A short walk from the main port, with aircon and fridges in the rooms. Beds were comfortable and rooms are made up beautifully each day so when you come home from a long hard day of beaching your clothes are neatly folded and your shoes lined up as well as fresh folded sheets in different shapes, creating a warm, relaxing and care free say. Very hospitable.

We were recommended to this hotel by another hotelier in Kusadasi (turkey) and were so glad for the great advice! The pension is only a 5-10minute walk from the ferry port and the stairs made a good daily workout! The rooms were spotless everyday and they even folded our clothes which we had hung out to dry that morning which was a lovely touch! The air con was good and as we had a room with a balcony and a window over the kitchenette we had beautiful views over the bay! Costas was so accommodating when we wanted to extend our stay, needed help and wanted to store our luggage. Would definitely recommend staying at dreams! Comfy beds too!

We spend few days, and wished we could have some more time to stay. Owner was very helpful and the staff was also very kind. Clean, nice and quiet place with a great atmosphere made the end of our holiday perfect. Nice location close to the city center and the two best restaurants in town (Para Pente by the sea at the catholic church and The Steps).
Thank´s Kostas and regards from Helsinki!

We traveled from Athens to Samos in order to catch the ferry to Turkey. We had previously contacted the motel but did not realize the ferry from Athens came in on one side of the Island and the Ferry to Turkey left on the other side of the Island. You can not make the walk so we took a taxi.

Even before exiting the Ferry the manager, who I think was Mr. Kostos was calling to see where we were. We exited the ferry and discovered the motel that we thought was with a few hundred yards from the ferry was actually several miles over mountains. I chalked this up to my poor planning and miscommunications.

We found a taxi and when Mr. Kostos called again we let him talk to the taxi driver directly for directions to Samos town where the motel was, on the other side of the Island. We arrived in the area of the motel and Mr. Kostos was outside flagging the taxi down. Mr. Kostos led us to our room and even threw in an extra room at no charge so all of us could have a bed. To top that off Mr. Kostos gave us a new price that also included the maid washing our clothes.

We unloaded in the room which was very clean and nice. The balcony was an oven but it has blinds on the outside and a good curtain on the inside. However later in the evening and next morning before the sun had risen all the way, the balcony was super nice! The view was off a post card.

Later in the evening we went to a restaurant Mr. Kostas had recommended. I will review it later but it was very good. Mr. Kostas had passed us on the street walking and I think he had just left the restaurant because it seemed the waiter was waiting on us. The service was super.

The next day the maid was there at 8 just as Mr. Kostas had said and she washed our clothes. I assume they did not have a dryer as the clothes were hanging outside in the shade for several hours as the time of our departure came and passed. Finally in a panic I spoke to the very nice maid who hung our damp clothes in the sun on our patio. At the last minute we left with still damp clothes. However I do not fault the maid as she probably washed them as soon as she got them. We were actually was late for the ferry as they want you there two hours early. The customs guy made a stink about us not being checked in and in fact said one time we could not get on the ferry but he relented and hand wrote our name on the list of passengers.

Also I had three kids, 17, 15, and 11 and there was no problems. I am not including pictures because I think the ones already submitted give an accurate representation.

The biggest negatives are the steps you have to go up or down to get to the dock/town. They are steep. I am in poor health and had to stop both times I walked up. I also did not like the shower as it is actually just a show head in the bathroom. There is not shower per say, just the shower head. It works but it gets water everywhere in the bathroom. Also make sure you ask who ever checks you in to turn on the hot water. Mr. Kostos turned it on and explained one room had solar hot water and the other was electric. Me and two kids used the solar hot water and had plenty of hot water for three showers.

I would give this place a thumbs up for service, atmosphere, and cleanliness. I would return and advise others to check it out.

We arrived in samos with no olace to stay because we were told by our previous hotel in turkey (Mr liman's happy hotel in kusadasi) that we could go to santorini from samos. Wheb we arrived we had the bad surprise that no ferry would go straight there and that would have to spend two nights in samos before the ferry to siros sleep there and then go to santorini on the monday. We were really sad and disapointed with Mr Liman's hotel and the fact that our reservation in santorini was non exhangeable, non refundable and vVERY expensive. But here came Pension DREAM, the owner was very understanding and nice. He gave us a very nice room for a good price. We had a balcony overviewing the aegean sea and big bathroom. He even arranged the taxi fpr our departure and made sure we got a gppd price on it. It is the little things that count the most because you can tell when you are in good hands or not. I would go back there for sure, without a doubt !!

We had an early arrival in Samos by overnight ferry and went searching for somewhere to stay. After looking at a couple of so so hotels, we came up the hill to Dreams and were meet by the friendly female manager. We had a look at a couple of rooms - both ok but we chose the bigger one.

Overall it is a comfortable and clean place to stay. Very quiet. We had very little contact with either the manger or owner in our three days there. It's up the hill from the port, but that is only 2-3 minutes walk. There is free wifi as well.

If I were going to Samos again, I'd probably stay in Pythagoreio for a couple of nights - although that is far more touristy, and the restaurants do not seem as good as in Samos town. Stay at least one night in Samos town if you go to Samos, and Pension Dreams is a pretty good place to stay when there.
