“Friendly”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 April 2012

Restaurant was busy but we got a good table towards the back as it was breezy and colder at the front. We had a chicken and beef kebab, tuna in a Canarian sauce and both had a local dessert. No problems with food or service. Good wine list and the usual Canarian rum free with coffee.

“Brilliant Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 March 2012

When I go to this restaurant I always have a chicken fillet with salad. It's not exciting or even Spanish but it is amazing. I don't know what they do to the chicken (I'm probably better off not knowing!) but it's the tenderest, juciest chicken I've ever had. The lasagne is also pretty good. The staff are lovely, the views are fantastic and it's very reasonably priced.

“exceptional views, the food is only average”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 February 2012

we wanted a quick lunch with a nice view on our last day in puerto del carmen.
the view is fantastic but the food we got on the day was very average.i cant believe the big reviews here! i had a pizza with luminous pink salami that was soft and tasted like sliced corned beef - horrible.my wife got a chicken curry that didnt seem to be very well seasoned at all, very bland.what a pity, great location...

“Consistently excellent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 February 2012

Have visted the Mar Casa many times over the past 10 years and have always been satisfied with our visits. We often go with some friends who live on the Island and also eat here regularly.
Staff and Manager have always been courteous and friendly and the food has always been of a consistently good standard. The Canarian Soup (Potage) is one of my favourites and the fresh fish is excellent. The chefs here also know how to cook a chateau briande, in fact one of the best I've had on the Island to date.
My daughter and Son eat here when they come out with the children (who are well catered for) and also hold the Mar Casa in high esteem.
No Michelin stars just consistently good food at very reasonable prices, One of the better Harbour restaurants in my opinion. Couple this with the fantastic view makes this one not to miss. Also the locals eat here late at night which is always a good sign !!!

“Best Restaurant in Old Town PDC”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 November 2011

The food and service is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble. Very friendly staff who are all great with the kids. Thank you to Alex for promoting it so well and convincing us to eat there. See you next year!
