“Fabulous location”

Loved our stay here, fabulous views from the balcony. The complex is small, quiet and very clean. Location is perfect for those wanting a quiet holiday, but just a short walk to harbour restaurants with pubs dotted along the way. The apartment was a bit dated but fine and suited our needs perfectly. I would go back tomorrow!!!

“Very 'tired' apartment.”

We have just come back (returned Monday 27th June) from 10 days in Lanzerote. We have been to Puerto Del Carmen quite a few times and particularly like the Old Town area - that is why we chose the San Francisco II apartments. The apartment 504 needs renovating. I am reluctant to say this but the apartment looked very 'Tired'. Gripes were: TV had no satellite signal on all channels. Ceiling fan was kaput. Shower was very small indeed and the shower head was loose. Sunshade very wobbly and not secure, we had to stop it from blowing away. Tatty curtains. The only two good thing was the terrific view from the large Balcony overlooking the harbour and the lovely large warm swimming pool.

“Very disappointed at studio 504”

Before we entered the apt we had our doubts about it.The door was stripped of paint n half the lock was missing.we felt very unsafe there.if you pushed it hard it would of opened.on entering the walls were very dirty.A couple of coats of paint would have worked wonders.there was a TV but it never worked even when we got caretaker to have a look at it.on the whole it's very dated. If the right person had it with a bit of refurbishing it could b lovely because what sells it is the view from the balcony when we took away the torn and dirty tablecloth.

“Nice studio with amazing sea view!”

Stayed for a week in April. Nice basic studio apartment, bigger than what I thought it would be, given some of the studios I'd previously stayed in. Plenty storage space, well equipped kitchen, nice sized bathroom & a good sized balcony that looks out onto the harbour. Plenty amenities nearby with little shops, great bars & amazing resteraunts. It's a very safe complex with a bar, 2 swimming pools and gates very secure going in and out. For a quiet break away I would recommend staying here.

“Ideal for solos, couples and 2 + 1s”

We've been holidaying at this complex in the Old Town of Puerto del Carmen on and off for 18 years. We first went when we were a younger couple on a low budget, and have stayed in several different privately owned studios. Times have moved on and we can afford a lot more than the £25 a night the owners charge for this complex with its own reception, pool and bar, but from time to time, we still go back. It's always friendly, relaxed and great access to some lovely local restaurants, small supermarket and walks (easy to walk to Puerto Calero) and views of the harbour and Fuerteventura, depending on which studio it is. This time I went for 4 days by myself. Felt just as comfortable and very safe. A couple of studios on the ground floor facing the sea have views rather obscured by water tanks, but otherwise if you like a community feel, then you'll be well at home here.

“Amazing sea view!”

The best thing about studio apartment 504 was the view over the old town and harbour of Puerto del Carmen and out to sea. Also the apartment being south facing got the sun from mid-morning till sunset. The small San Francisco complex on a steep hillside (not suitable for anyone with mobility problems as lots of steps) was lovely, well-cared for and quiet when we were there. There were 2 swimming pools, lots of sun loungers; and a bar open during the day, and with a BBQ and quiz on one night. The complex was very close to lots of good restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to the harbour, and a 15 minute walk to the main beach and the PDC 'strip'. The apartment itself, however, was a little tired, in need of some refurbishment - paintwork, bathroom, new beds; but all was clean and tidy. Old-fashioned TV with poor selection of channels. The kitchen was of a good standard and well-equipped for a self-catering stay. All things considered we would stay here again as to wake up in the morning, open the curtains and look out on such a fabulous sea view was marvellous. It made out holiday!

“panoramic view - great holiday”

Enjoyed a great holiday at the san fransisco 2, the complex is very nice and run by very nice people who obviously care for it and keep it in great shape ! The complex is secure at night with both gates being locked (you are supplied with a key to come and go as you please). It is situated in the old town overlooking the harbour with an outstanding balcony (size and view) overlooking it all ! this is by far the biggest selling point of this apartment. On arrival the advertised 2 recliners turned out to be 1 and this was broken :-( The women on site who takes care of the apartment for the owner (Madaline - not sure of the spelling lol) called to the apartment to check all was ok, she replaced the broken recliner next morning with 2 brand new ones and new covers for them ! great service !!
The apartment itself was nice - one small gripe if anything was a little TLC would go a long way and maybe refresh the mattress protectors. The front door is also a little annoying as it is loose and bangs whilst closed with the wind moving it. - these are very minor points and in no way put me off!
Excellent place with great people ! would def go back ! you wont find a better balcony with this view for this price !:-)

For the complex itself - outstanding and very clean ! would be great if WiFI was upgraded so it could be received in your room but again a very minor thing. - Well done to San Fransisco 2 ! :-)

ps. you must try Bozena's restaurant !!!! (Irish/polish) food, people and decor/atmosphere is second to none! :-) still thinking about it :-)
