Returned on March 13th. Nice food and good central location. Those that have difficulty walking beware the are lot of stairs and there is only one lift to the dining room which is located on the lower ground floor. You have to pay for use of fridge, tea making facilities and safe which works out quite expensive. Most waiters and bar staff were pleasant, but some were surly and rude, mainly in the pool bar. On a couple of evenings there a gang of youths came into the dining area very drunk and dressed inappropriately and nothing was said to them. Our room was very clean, a little tired perhaps but still OK. Loads of mosquitos many guests including myself were quite badly bitten. Entertainment quite good but stage views can be limited.
Still a decent hotel with lots to offer.

Room Tip: Sea view in a high floor.

Visited again in March as we usually do each year.Lovely pool area with lots of sunbeds(a bit too close together for our liking-so you get to know your neighbours up close and personal).Good quality food at breakfast and dinner.Good evening entertainment most nights.

This hotel has many repeat visitors-we go for the above reasons and the fact that the weather can be almost sure to be warm and sunny even in Winter.Flights between UK and Lanzarote take only 3 and 1/2 to 4 hours and taxi to hotel is cheap and quick.

Management read these reviews but do absolutely nothing to address issues such as charging extra for the safe and the fridge. The furniture in both the rooms and the public areas inc.the main bar area is worn and getting threadbare. The dining room is also in need of updating-get rid of the plastic ivy etc.The food in the snack bar was overcooked-a bit disappointing.

With such full occupancy-surly there are enough profits to improve standards.

Room Tip: All rooms are much the same-size wise-No kingsize beds or roomy bathrooms-Do not pay extra for rooms as all have some seaviews.

This is a nice hotel. Our room was O.K ,clean ,effective air-condition ,well furnished. Some of our friends complained of bad smell in the their room and others of mosquitos. The buffets breakfast and dinner are good .A big choice of dishes .But some inconveniences should be noted. There is a refrigerator in the rooms but it is locked and you should pay in order to use it.The wifi system in the rooms is a disaster, whenever you close your ipad or computer you have to sign in again. There is no orderly luggage service so you have to carry your valises to the rooms. This is of no concern to the young but is bothersome for older people. The lifts system is a big mishmash and for example to get to our room from the lift we should have walked as through a maze or labyrinth. In the buffet breakfast you can get water or light drinks from a dispenser ,but at the dinner these dispensers are locked in order to force you to buy a drink.

Spent a week here full board from 13th to 20th March this year. As a party of 4 we asked for a sea view with adjoining rooms and got what we asked for. Apart from a couple of highly strung rude waiters and the head receptionist (Martina) who was patronising, unhelpful and might benefit from working with other members of the staff ie the very pleasant room maids the rest of the staff were very pleasant. Food was excellent in quality and choice, entertainment was good, some nights were better than others.Nice pool area and pools and a very clean hotel.Would definitely go to the San Antonio hotel again.

Room Tip: Some rooms get the sun in morning and none in the afternoon and vice versa. Some rooms overlook the tennis courts and some overlook the pool area. You would need to contact the hotel for more information.

Returned on the 20th march. Stayed here 4 yrs ago & have to say the room we were in is just as tired and dated as before, it seems this is often mentioned by fellow travelers but not sure if management are listening.
For me the bed was far to hard, spoke to reception who promptly arranged for the mattress to be changed (well done). Our room was clean & there was always hot water when required, however i agree with the reviews regarding the attitude of some of the staff on reception & it does come across as being quite rude & abrupt.....!
All of the public areas are kept spotless.
Overall we enjoyed our stay & found the evening meals have improved, Must say the group playing a melody of The Beatles were fantastic......

Room Tip: Sorry can't advise
