I went to Lanzarote at the end of June 2011 with my daugher and stayed in these apartments for a week. This apartment complex is lovely. The apts are very clean and tidy. We got room no. 70 which was an ideal position, overlooking the sea and at times we could see Africa from our balcony which was an unexpected surprise. A 1 bedroom apt consists of a living area with small kitchen fitted with 2 hobs, toaster, microwave, sink, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, breakfast bar with 3 stools and enough cuttlery, plates etc for 4 people. In the living area there was a good sized sofa, although we didn't use it much and there is also another soft chair, TV, and coffee table. The TV had 20 channels, of all languages including about 3 English channels, such as Sky newz, ITV 1 and a kids channel. The living area leads to a good sized balcony with a table and 3 chairs. There is also a small clothes line which was very useful. The bathroom was clean and medium sized with a small bath/overhead shower, toilet, bidet and sink. The bedroom had two single beds, a dressing table and mirror and sliding wardrobes with lots of storage space. All in all the apartment was very clean and tidy. We were worried about finding cockroaches or other creepy insects but we didn't see any during our whole holiday!

The pool area was nice, the pool had a deep end of about 1.55m which I couldn't stand up in I had to stand on my tip toes, but it also has a sectioned off kids pool so don't worry about that! The pool was kept clean as it is cleaned every night at about 8. There were plenty of sun loungers. Some people thought it necessary to reserve their chairs at 8AM or earlier but there was no need for this as some days we didn't go to the pool until after lunch and we never had a problem finding a chair. The snack bar was great - plenty of choice and food was really nice and good value to suit everyone. Things like - wraps, burgers, chips, toasties, salads, quiche, ice lollies, crisps, lots of drinks available including cocktails which were nice! The staff here were very friendly and spoke English. We ate there regularly and they also had lots of magazines to read which were free and a widescreen TV. There was also a games room, however we didn't go to it but from what I think I saw... air hockey, pool table, ping pong, and slot machines.

There was a tennis court and mini golf beside the apts but it was too hot to play! Right beside our apts was a Spar shop - lots of English foods, such as Heinz baked beans, cravendale milk, isle of man cheese, flora, Kellogs cereal etc. Don't worry about bringing your own food because there will be plenty here! The shop also had lots of alcoholic drinks for cheap, such as Bacardi breezer for 80 cents! Next door to this shop was a good fish and chip shop run by Scotish people. We ate there once was very nice indeed. There was a security guard at nights 9PM - 9AM who walked about the complex non stop. This was very reasuring.

If you are staying here an airport transfer by taxi will only about take about 5-10 mins and there are plenty of taxis about the place. Puerto del Carmen is a lovely holiday resort. The apts are only 2 mins walk from main beach strand. Don't use cardiac hill use the other hill at the spar shop - it's much easier. The main strand is so long - absolutely loads of shops and restaurants so will have plenty of choice - we went to Pinnochios once which had pizza, pasta, etc for cheap and a good atmosphere with friendly staff. We also went to O'Connels Irish pub which was nice - you can get pretty much anything there - stir fry was nice! We also discovered a place called Picnic on the main street which did things like freshly made sandwiches, wraps, rolls, baguettes, croissants etc and cakes. We really liked the food here so we went back about four times for lunch. If you're still a bit hungry later on have a crepe. There is a man making them on the street who opens at about 7PM till late. They are yummy!

The beach in the area is nice although we did not go often. The sand was so hot during the day you could not stand on it!! Lots of sun loungers here and water sports such as paragliding, banana boat rides, pedalos!

The taxi from apts to main shopping centre Biosfera took 5 mins and cost 2.50 there and 3.00 coming back At the shopping centre we ate at a restaurant called the Colleseum which was really nice! There are lots of good shops as well such as Pimkie, Zara, Mango, Nataura.

Another thing we did during our stay was take the Grand tour around the Island. This was great and so well organised! Would definitely recommend it. You get to see lots of interesting places. The bus is comfortable and well air conditioned. The tour guide was brilliant and very knowledgable. The price includes entrance to a range of attractions as well as a lovely buffet lunch. Would also advise going on a camel ride! We loved it!

In conclusion we had a fabulous time. Lanzarote is a beautiful island and we would definitely recommend staying in these apartments! They were so lovely and clean, spacious, well furnished. Would recommend requesting a first floor apt with sea view as it was just lovely to sit on balcony with a cold drink in the evening after a day of sunbathing. We didn't want to come home.

The apartments are fine.Probably more equipment than you need in the room. The POOL BAR didn;t open till 10 am and closed at 6 pm,but the food and service were very good and reasonably priced. If you are any way infirmed the hill leading to the apartments is not for you.The taxi fare is very reasonable from any part of Peurto Del Carmen back to Jable Bermudas. The RENDEVOUS bar nearby is an ideal place to spend the evening,50 /60/70 music and good company Terry will make you welcome. OVERALL a good week, brilliant weather, but the HILL would stop me from returning.

just returned from a week away with my 16 year old daughter. the apartment complex is divided by a road that is busy from around 6am. we stayed on the side where the pool is. the apartment was clean, spacious (shower room could have been a bit bigger) and kitchen well stocked. maid service every other day. the downside no air con and single glazed windows that didn't quite close properly so we had a few visits from the coackroach family. the complex could do with a spruce up. the pool area is not large but was never fully utilised and could always get a bed. very popular with the locals. ideal location for the beach, shops and bars on the main strip and the hill was tame compared to some in the vicinity.
Good - location, space, well equipped, quiet by the pool
Not so good - road noise, people returning late through the night, single glazing, no air con

would probably stay again.

We stayed in this apartment and found the staff extremely helpful from the off. Based on other reviews we asked for a second floor apartment but the area wasnt noisy (in May at any rate) so I dont think the ground floor would've been an issue anyway.
The apartment was basic but had a few unexpected little extras (like a coffee machine) that went down a treat. The pool was lovely, clean and had plenty of beds for when you didnt feel like the beach.
The staff also went above and beyond to safely return an item left behind in the apartment safe. I cant thank them enough for that and I'll definitely be back to stay again.

The jable bermudas are bungalows all on the ground floor. On our arrival we were given a very dark room with a tiny balcony with a dirty chair on it! there was also a small window in the bedroom looking out onto a brick wall! The bathroom was also pretty grim which had a large hole in the ceiling, assuming for ventilation but didn't like the look of it. We complained and asked to go back in the morning which was acceptable, so we went out for dinner and drinks and wen we returned to our room I saw a cockroach climbing the cuboards! There was also a dead cockroach in the bedside draw! Was given a better room near the entrance to the poolside bar was which was good. There is a selection of drinks, ice cream and snacks. The world cup was on when we went away and the bar showed all the football on their large TV's- English staff that worked there. Didn't find any coachroaches in the new room we got, but I warn you they are everywhere around the apartments at night!! as that's when they come out.. Herd a couple of girls shrieking at night when seeing them as I did too!! The location of the apartments was good, however they are very basic and you donot get a private balcony as bungalows on the ground floor and everybody walks passed you, which is not great if you wanna sunbathe on your balcony in private!
However the beach was lovely as was some of the restaurents, went to a couple of bars which had live entertainment was which good. you do get meithered to go in the bars so we crossed over and walked along the beautiful seafront. All in all I'd reccomend Puerto Del Carmen but wouldn't reccomend these apartments.
