Well what can I say, £30.00 per night for an apartment that sleeps four people. My wife & I went on our own and booked direct, got a cheap flight with Ryanair. The apartments are clean but basic. The staff are friendly and we are going back for a week in June. For the price you cannot beat it.Really central and I thouroughly recommend it.

If there was a rating entitled "It's ok... but...." then that's how I'd rate Montana Club. Clean, basic and good location BUT the pools are ridiculously freezing, to the point where you don't actually want to go in. You have to hire everything, the sunbeds are free BUT you have to pay €2.50 per day for the cushion and they are VERY uncomfortable without. To hire a hairdryer = €19 for the week! We went to the shops on the front & bought one for €10. The maids cleaned twice but none of the little luxuries which you hope are there so you don't have to weigh your case down such as shampoo, soap etc. Without doubt the absolute nightmare about this place is the noise. We requested a top floor so that people above us didn't wake us moving their chairs and furniture around.....only to find that actually every day the maids made a din moving stuff about. Not sure they actually woke us up though bearing in mind we barely slept due to the dogs barking all night, the locals up drinking until 5am making a din and local kids screaming in the morning. The walls were so thin I could hear the guy in the next apartment snoring - I gave his wife a sympathetic look when I saw her! The apartments back onto a local street so the general comings and goings late at night and early morning were so frustrating. There's no privacy here either, all the apartments over look each other, it's like a little courtyard and there are no views whatsoever. The apartments on the ground floor looked out onto a wall that was covered with a black tarpaulin/bin liner. Spar shop at the end of the road was handy but expensive. We didn't bother with the €45 for airconditioning based on the reviews we'd read on here saying it wasn't worth it. We didn't eat in there either so can't comment on the food. As I said earlier.... this place is just "ok".

I have just returned from a week stay in the montana apartments with my sister. The apartments are in a great location only a 2 min walk to the main strip where all the bars and restaurants and the main sandy beach are located. Also at the end of the road there is a spar shop which is very convenient. The apartments are spacious and colourful and all have a lovely pool view. There is 2 big size swimming pools and a kiddy pool also. The apartments themselves are equipped with a fridge/freezer,hob,microwave and a tv. The only thing is that u have to rent the rest so if u want a kettle or toaster or the remote for the tv u will have to rent it from the reception.
I have to say that this was my fourth time in lanzarote and these apartments were by far my favourite and i will return again next year to the montana...excellent and very comfortable apartments

My boyfriend and I booked these apartments for a week long stay with my sister, her husband and their 1 year old baby.
We got a late deal and paid about 350e each for the week, which was a reasonable price but I would not pay higher than this.
Apartments are a nice size, with couch, dining area, fridge, small freezer, hob, and kettle.
Bedrooms are a bit on the small side, especially when a child's cot is added to the room. Beds are also very hard. They also get very dark when shutters are closed which is a plus as the sun doesn't wake you in the mornings but my niece got very upset every morning she woke, as she couldn't see a thing!
Rooms are kept very clean, athough my sister had a problem with a cockroach, which was dealt with very efficently by the cleaning staff.
Do not pay extra for air-conditioning, it makes no difference. My boyfriend and I paid 50e for it and my sister's apartment felt exactly the same without it.
Pool is a nice size with separate children's area and there are plenty of sun-loungers so no need to get up at the dawn and put towels out!
Bar prices are ridiculously over-priced and food is not the greatest quality. Bar staff are not the friendliest either. We tended to buy all our food and alcohol in the Spar 2 mins down the road and bring it back with us.
Location in excellent, a mere 5 min walk from the main strip.
All in all I would return to these apartments but only at a reasonable prince in the range of 300 to 350e.
