Was concerned when booked but immediately not a worry. On arrival swift check in by pleasant staff. First glimpse of hotel very clean and tidy. Hotel in two parts we were in flora 2. And it's perfect. Big rooms easy sleep four plus a cot if required. Functional, basic but clean. Two changes of bedding and we were only there four nights. Food basic but plenty, warm and decent quality. Think people expect five star cuisine at 3 star prices.Pool area good. Bar service good and all inclusive package fab. It is on a steep hill but my 5 month pregnant wife took a stroll and it was ok. Recommend a evening in old town very nice. Scotch corner bar small with live music and had two funny great nights out in there. Top place with easy atmosphere. Overall a great place to stay if you want late minute sun, fed well, clean hotel and rooms and attentive staff. The right price and perfect for a last minute break at a great price. Would go back if needed the same.

We had a fantastic 2 week break over the New Year at this hotel with our 3 young children (5 years and 3 year old twins). We went all-inclusive with a cracking deal.
Our main priority for a family holiday is to have a clean room, excellent food, and sufficient things to keep the kids occupied so they do not disturb other guests and this hotel most definetly lives up to those expectations.
The mini club and disco was brilliant for our kids and they throughly enjoyed the childrens activities co-ordinated by the animation team Mark and Marton. Activities started at 11am and 3pm most days and run for around 1-2 hours. At 8.30pm the mini disco starts and the kids have a great time putting on a show for the adults.
The restaurant was clean and inviting, with a wide choice of food available. At times the restaurant is very busy but you have a sufficient window of 3 hours to choose when to eat 3 times per day. The chef would greet me most nights and ask for feedback about the food which impressed me. The restaurant and bar staff are extremely friendly and like to fuss over the children. They work very hard serving, cleaning, maintaining and turning round the restaurant continuously. My only suggestion would be to include alcohol gel on entrance to the restaurant because there are no hand washing facilities available for the guests prior to entering the restaurant from the pool area and considering it is a buffet setting where guests serve their own food, I feel this feedback should be considered. I added this suggestion to my evaluation form when we were leaving.
Cleaners were constantly maintaining the rooms, gardens and communal areas and I was suprised to see previous comments that suggested the hotel is not well maintained. The cleaners work really hard and often long hours and you can see they take real pride in what they do.
Reception was very ameniable as when we arrived we checked into our room and found there was only 4 beds. Requested a fold out bed and one was delivered in the hour.
Pool was cold but that did not stop our kids and other children from jumping straight in. There was plenty of people (adults included) braving the cold and jumping (or being thrown)into the pool.
We walked down the hill to the harbour and beach strip and found the walk with the children a pleasant one. Takes around ten minute walk to get down to the main town centre where there is lots of shopping and "touristy" things to see. The beach is superb. We caught a taxi back up the hill which cost around 4-5 Euros.
On the whole we were delighted with our two week break and if we were not moving to Oz this year we would most definetly return time and time again to this hotel. Weather was beautiful (about 25 degrees) most days. Our only regret was not doing this sooner!!

Room Tip: We had room 386 which is through the tunnel and away from the main area. This area is very quiet and...

Just back from a week all-inclusive at the above hotel.

Party of two adults and a 4 year old boy. Rooms adequate - note "couches" are concrete so cannot be moved to make a double bed for a child. We got around this by putting the "cushions" on the floor and he had no complaints. We had apartment 204 - sea and pool view but no sun till afternoon.

Food is fine. One or two days were a bit limited if you didn't like fish. Almost always something suitable for children - fish fingers, chicken nuggets, chips, pizza.

Drink is fine and measures are large.

Entertainment is ok - the guys in the mini disco are lovely and do a very good job.

Staff are a very mixed bag. Those involved in the kitchen or bar run it like a military operation. You are not allowed into the restaurant outside the designated times. You cannot take food out of the restaurant outside the designated times. The cleaners and the reception staff were lovely and friendly.

When we were leaving in the middle of the night (5 am) the night receptionist gave my little boy sweets, colouring book and colours for the airoplane - I was very impressed!

Other thing to note is it is a little bit out of the old town and there are lots of hills!

Room Tip: Rooms 210 to 216 would have the best sun all day in my opinion

only bad thing about this hotel was that it's on the top of a hill. very long walk to the beach but amazing view of the sea from the main building apartments. very friendly staff, very helpful and all love children. disco for the kids at evening time and different entertainment every night but not many tables and seats outside so make sure to get dinner early and be outside about 8! many activities going on throughout the day. pool was very cold and not heated but quite big. rooms are cleaned every day. comfortable beds. would definitely go back!

Room Tip: rooms at the main building (resort view) are a lot quieter at night time but rooms on the opposite s...

We stayed 2nd Jan for four nights, we found the room to be clean and basic. It reminded me of a hostel or a motel. The rooms do need to be updated but where people have said the rooms are dirty, they are not they are simply marked. I too like to book into a hotel feeling that I was the only one who has ever stayed in the room, however when booking in this hotel you know what to expect from the price. Ultimately it is a place to rest your head or relax on the balcony with the sun on your face.We went self catering(people were still complaing about the food)but didnt use the facilities, the fridge did come in handy for our beers!! The hotel will try and get money on extras e.g the tv. We didnt mind as we werent planning on staying in the room. There are cats about 5 hanging round but they will not come near you unless you feed them, which people were. Hotel is in a great location to the old town literaly 2 min down the road. Old and young alike were walking up and down the hill, remember your on holiday so go at your own pace. By the hotel are all the brit bars which serve cheaper beer than anywhere else so ideal location for a cheap beer and a good breakfast. The irish bars(loads of them!!) were quite expensive. So if you want basic but clean, wanna be by the cheap side then you wont go wrong with this hotel.

Room Tip: 370 on corner no one walks past your room
