Lovely pool area, but a bit of a concrete jungle. Nice clean room but we would have liked air con. Great for disabled access as all units are ground floor but this does result in the patios being not at all private. No pool bar which we missed during the day.
The old town with nicer restaurants and bars is at the other end of the beach (about 3k away) and being so close to airport you often have very loud noise from planes coming in and out.

Dear Guests,
We are sorry to read that your stay at Nautilus Lanzarote was not of your entire satisfaction and we are not quite the place you were looking for.
It is a fact that lively Puerto del Carmen centre with many nice bars and restaurants is about 3 kilometres from us (if not further) and Nautilus Lanzarote is a place that suits people looking for quiet.

Most of our apartments provide air conditioning units at an extra cost.We apologize for not letting you know in time.

Hope you had a good trip back home and we would like to send you our kindest regards.

We are a family of 6 and have just come back from spending 2 weeks at the apartments we have young children 6,5,3& 20 months. The apartments are immaculate no fighting for sun beds the garden terrace is excellent as you can sit there and still see your children in the pool or by the pool as we got a pool side villa which was fab with young kids. It was so convenient as we put out child for daily naps in the travel cot and you could still let the other children in the pool as we sunbathe in the front terrace. Small shop on site great kitchen in apartment as we generally cooked as kids are So young was easier Local shops restaurants and we hired bikes only respite form kids! ,great cycle path. Only issue would have been nice to have a kids club asj kids were trying as up early but we will be back thanks for everything Celine Gary and kids stayed in no 26... Ingrid was most helpful on reception washer available on site .will be taken even less clothes nx year. Airport 10 mins away, whew cycled into porta del carmen takes 20 mins or taxi €5

Room Tip: If you have young children a poolside villa is fab as you are not walking back and forth if you forg...

Stayed at this wonderful hotel over last New Year - as the title suggests we are going back for a second stay - this time in mid November!

Rooms are excellent. Very comfortable - great for self catering. Pool lovely and the on site shop offers a good range of food and other products. Staff are always nice and helpful.

Location is good - near the seafront, restaurants and bars. Wonderful artwork throughout the gardens and in the rooms.

This hotel offers first class facilities for both able-bodied and disabled travellers and should rightly be very proud of what it has achieved. We very much look forward to our return this November!

First time here and had a fantastic time. Accommodation was great and as one of our party was a full time wheelchair user the patio area and location was fantastic. The apartment was great and the communal areas were spotless. To have the pool right on the doorstep was fab. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Apart from one minor hiccup the equipment we hired was of good quality. We are looking forward to many more holidays here....

Room Tip: Superior room was great, shame we had to pay extra for air con though.

Where to start? After reading the reviews, this place had a lot to live up to. The apartments themselves are fantastic. We were in a XL one by the pool, plenty space for a family of 5. there were two toilets, and the bedrooms had beds that were actually comfortable!

The front porch area was excellent, no requirement to use the beds round the pool, easy access to nip inside if the Sun got too hot. Inside the apartment there was excellent wifi with its own router (as good as in your own house), flatscreen tv and a large kitchen and a small outside private drying area.

The TV channels dont have much UK ones, however you dont come on holiday to watch TV! (BBC World News, CBS Reality, SKY News World and Bloomberg). The large screen was appreciated for the World Cup games though.

The complex itself is spotless, nothing is left to get grotty, the place is washed down every morning and any leaves on the ground picked up. You get a maid service every day.

You never have any problem getting a bed by the pool if you wish to do so (although it didn't stop one family bizzarely putting their towels down on every morning which was funny to watch)

The shop on site is not nearly as overpriced as others we have experienced, we used it for purchasing water saving us the hassle of carrying heavy bags in the Sun from the local Spar.

The Staff were very helpful and they seemed to actually enjoy dealing with customers!

The place is a 5 minute walk from the beach and main shopping/entertainment area, great location and the staff are happy to order taxi's for you( we are a family of 5, so taxi choice is limited). Didnt try the food on site, too many great restaurants close-by.

There is some aircraft noise, but you honestly don't notice it.

Any quibbles? The pool was cold, they are big into protecting the environment so I get they look to save on cost of heating, however I do think it was a bit too cold. Also they kept a hold of our passports for 24 hours to fill some forms in, dont really like leaving them with third parties, think they need to review this practice.

We will definately stay here again though, a truly guaranteed quality holiday, dont be scared to book direct with them as I did also, cuts out the middle man!

Room Tip: XL rooms worth the cost if larger family numbers (5)

I would like to thank Ingrid and the rest of the staff for making our recent holiday a very enjoyable experience in every way. The entire resort was spotless.
For my brother who is a wheelchair user it could not have been better, seemly insignificant things such as along shower hose that stretched to the hand basin for hair washing and room under the hand basin to fit in comfortably, not to mention perfect toilet these things and others made the apartment very comfortable, we have stayed in many places at home and abroad and it was one of the best.

Dear guests,
Thank you for posting your review on Tripadvisor.
It is very good to know that your brother had his needs fulfilled.
Not only Nautilus Lanzarote had made an effort to make the whole complex accesible, quite a large area of Matagorda is suitable for wheelchais users. Also the near beach promenade is easy to reach and very nice to ride along and neighbouring Los Pocillos Beach has a wooden catwalk and amphibious chairs available for those who want to enjoy a sea bath.
There is also alternatives of adapted leisure such as blockart, sailing trips at the “Goleta Raquel”, private excursions on adapted transport, baths with sea lions specially desinged for persons with mobility issues or restaurant with adapted toilet as the “El Caletón” restaurant where you can taste the best Cherne croquettes in the island. For further information and reservations, please contact reception.

We are looking forward to welcoming you very soon in Nautilus Lanzarote.
Kindest regards,
Leda Giordano – Nautilus Team
