“Can´t fault it for the price”
Reviewed 7 September 2011

For the price of this hotel I really can´t fault it. The room was large and spotless. The bathroom was modern with a powerful shower (which you don´t often get I find). I found all the staff I came across to be friendly and helpful. I arrived around 11am and my room wasn´t quite ready, but I was offered a place to change and a shower if I wanted it together with a voucher for a drink at the bar. A good start and the rest of my trip didn´t disappoint. I´d read the other reviews saying that most guests are German and that was indeed true, but did it matter, not one bit. The dinner buffet was perhaps a little ordinary, but it was plentiful and good quality if not overly fancy. The weather was spot on, touching 30 degrees but with a constant breeze. I can´t comment on the evening entertainment as I didn´t see any of it, but I wouldn´t hesitate to come back or to recommend this hotel.

Set right beside the beach, super location with quiet area on one side busier on the other. Nice dining room with outside eating area. Small sunbathing area around the pool. Nice rooms well equipped. Low rise only 2 floors with good wheelchair access to most areas.

Having recently returned, we can agree with the previous reviews on the standard of Las Costas. Rooms spotless, the food was brilliant, no sunbed rush early morning. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel in a great location, bus stop and taxis nearby. Unable to comment on evening entertainment as we went out every evening. This is the 3rd time we have been to Lanzarote and this is the best hotel we have stayed at, will definately be returning.

Room Tip: pay extra for a superior room well worth it !

Fifth time back to Lanzarote, first time to stay at Las Costas. (Usually Hotel Farrionnes) and this was the best holiday ever. The hotel was beyond belief for value, entertainment and fun. Rooms are well laid out, with a generous balcony, pool-side entertainment was excellent and all ages included. Plenty of sun loungers available, Food was exceptional and the best value. If I was re booking (Which we hope to do next year) I would advise half board, it works out very economical. We had our 13 year old son and he declared it the best holiday ever. Suitable for all ages.

Stayed 1 week at Las Costas it was very good, such a clean and well run Hotel, food good plenty of choice although the desserts at dinner were very average, crackers and cheese would have been great but they didnt seem to offer these, breakfast great, good omlettes made while you wait, plenty fresh warm bread, cheeses, jams, cereals , toast the usual. They have a dress code in the evenings, men not to wear shorts etc but apart from that its quite casual we found. The rooms are clean, spacious with comfortable beds,.
Las Costas is in a perfect location, right on the beach, although quite windy at times, nice walk to Matagorda, on the way there is a kiosk selling beautiful ice cream on the main road. We had great weather all week although a little overcast at times,I found the week we were there it got quite chilly in the evenings so a cardigan or light jacket might be needed.
The Italian restaurant Sorrento di Italia up past the kiddies go karts play area going towards Peurto del Carmen and fairly close to Hotel is fab, we had lunch in it twice, and not too expensive. P D Carmen we found was pretty reasonable beer most places 2 Euro a pint, some places 1.50. At lunch time food at most places very reasonable indeed. At night plenty night life and bars.

Catch the bus opposite San Antonio Hotel to Playa Blanca, Wednesday and Saturdays are market days at the Rubicon Marina, nice craft market, not the usual tack you get at local markets. Play Blanca is a great wee spot with shops restuarants etc

The Hotel staff are very helpful, on our last day our flight was in the evening I enquired about a late check out and the receptionist tried to organise it but Hotel was pretty booked up and because we had a superior room it was not possible, if we had have had a standard room would have been easier with more rooms available, but they have a huge shower room off reception area with hair dryer, soap shampoo etc plus the toilets off reception have showers too, they are so so clean very modern and very well looked after also reception supply towels, The reception is a quiet area so no one else really using them. This is simply a very good standard of Hotel we were not disapointed and it was our first time. Will hopefully go back next year.

This is our third trip to this wonderful hotel, and we were given the red carpet treatment!
You arrive to a low level stone frontage about 15 drive from the airport ,Taxi should not be more than 14 euro, the reception area is spacious and airy, this leads out to a split level complex of apartments/villas. The front reception staff are excellent , pleasant and helpful .This hotel offer both BB/ basis lunch and evening meal facility. The food in the restaurant is excellent, with plenty of fresh salads/ meat /veg/ and ALL the restaurant staff go out off there way to make your stay great. One thing which was greatly improved was the day/evening entertainment program.Micky from Holland was fantastic and really livened up this side of the hotel.Las costas the kids loved him and I cannot think of the girls name that was there for 6 months but she was also great. The hotel is at the airport side of PDC and has a beautiful beach on its door step Los Picillos which offers fantastic walks in the morning or evening.PDC center is only a 10/ 15 min walk to the left of reception, with plenty of bars and restaurants. my only comments would be to upgrade the sun loungers at your balcony and replace the TV's with flat screen.I would definitively return to Las costas
