Just returned from a week's stay. All in all a very pleasant stay, however lets get the negatives out the way first!..After enduring an arduous four hour flight with one of the low cost airlines (do try and avoid them if you can..will start your holiday off better if you do),arrived at the apartments at around 2pm on saturday afternoon, with reception closed and no offer of help from the guy at the pool bar..(more on that later!)...a note on the door said to phone a local number for where your keys are...Now not everyone has a mobile phone, so not the most practical way of greeting your guests and at that time of day and knowing your were expecting new arrivals the reception should be manned...We noticed whilst there during the week other arrivals at less convenient time of day were met by a member of staff..(including the pool bar guy)...I had purposely booked a two bed-roomed apartment and paid extra for this and had confirmation from the tour operator with me...Having located the keys what do we get?..a one bedroom apartment for two people...So more phone calls to the number on reception door...mobile calls that is not local ones..The manager of the complex said that he did not have any two bedroom apartments available and that as there were only two of us then the one we were allocated should be ok...No it was not.Now further phone calls back to the tour operator in the UK..(mobile calls= costly!), were needed to get this resolved . To their credit the tour operator was very good in sorting the problem out but had to intervene otherwise we would not have been able to..The long and short of that was that we accepted two single bed apartments next door to each other..Not great but acceptable..Found out that there are only two 2 bed apartments out of the 26 on site, so surely they should know when these are available. The apartments are clean & well equipped well maintained and water, tea & coffee waiting for you.Nice pool area small but ok for what was needed. There is a pool bar but the whole time we were there no one used it ..Maybe the pool bar guy would do more business if the music was more for the visitors rather than himself to indulge in, and he was a bit more friendly may have helped...Great location with a well stocked supermarket just about a 100 metres away, and just 300 metres or so from the bustling promenade and beach. The beach is spotless and the sea beautiful and clean..Many bars , restaurants and usual gift shops along the front...bustling a bit in the evening...can be wearing with all the hassle from the "promotors" on the front at times...some never give up!..All in all we enjoyed our stay but at no point did anyone come up and ask us if everything was ok after the start we had..but then I suppose I am not really surprised...I do not want to put anyone off visiting these apartments as they have great benefits..just a little more personal care and attention and your guests will go away much happier
