A complex of 168 apartments situated in a quiet area just back from the main coastal road. Attractive two storey buildings centred around the pool area (main and childrens pool) and a lawn area dotted with mature trees. There appeared to be ample sun beds (no matresses) in both sections. Our apartment (upgraded to superior) was adequately furnish with small deep freezer and microwave but the cooking equipement was limited for anybody intending to do serious cooking. A well stocked, modern supermarket in under apartment 261, accessed by going around the block or getting a key card (when checking in) for the back door by room 261. The supermarket opens at 8 am and closes at 10 pm, as does the back door. The reception staff are not the 'host with the most' although it does vary with who is on duty. This is opposite to the jolly and very hard working team of cleaners who keep the rooms and grounds spotless. Rooms are cleaned 5 times a week, towels 3 times and sheets twice. There is a pool-side snack bar and an on-site restauant 'Playa Club' that does a 3 course set menu and a la carte. You have to buy a TV package, a choice of a 15 and 20 euro package with a 5 euro deposit for the remote. Wifi is free but rather 'hit or miss' a lot more 'miss' really. Most nearby bars and restaurant (even the supermarket) offer free wifi. Restaurants and bars are all along the coast road and one can eat from every corner of the world at a reasonable prices. Three that we would recommend are El Drago, left along the road about 100 yards, just passed the pharmacy, no fancy menu boards or restaurant 'Tuggers' outside. Used by locals and tourists. Another 100 yards on and off to the left, on the first road (Calle Frankfurt) is Arado,(the Plough) run by a welcoming Welshman. Out of Playa Club and on the coast road and turn right and after a couple of establishments is Hong Kong 1, run by an attentive and charming 'boss lady' with good food. More than happy to stay there again.

Room Tip: Upper villas are accessed by a narrow stairway. People who have problems with stairs or are unable to carry suitcases up the stairs should opt for ground floor rooms.

We stayed here as a couple in August 2013 for one week. The apartments are in a central location with loads of shops and restaurants on the doorstep, just off the promenade. The pool area was well maintained with a friendly lifeguard, however, one slight improvement could be made with the upgrading of some sun loungers as many were a bit broken. The apartments themselves have everything you would need for a stay in the sun. If you did feel like cooking in one night (why would you when you are on holiday and there are a million reasonably priced restaurants on your doorstep!) there is plenty of equipment to aid you. The rooms were reasonably sized and were cleaned on a regular basis. The bathroom was large and we had a big balcony that looked over the pool area with the sea in the distance. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Room Tip: We requested a balcony view of the pool and the sea which was delivered. If you want a quieter room, ask for an apartment towards the rear of the complex in the garden area (no views).

Great value, nice and clean apartments. Staff really nice and helpful. My suitcase was unable to lock up, but the receptionist made it open with a glance! The free wifi didn't work for more than an hour on the whole week.

We booked this hotel specifically because it advertises with wifi throughout the hotel. We needed internet in a private area for our business. Unfortunately the wifi doesn't work most of the time and if it does it is so slow that u can not use it properly.
Ok this can happen. But the lack of interest in our complain and not solving the problem is what made us really unhappy with this hotel. Finally we changed rooms, but the internet still wasn't working properly.
The receptionists were simply denying that they are advertising with wifi throughout the hotel. Even when I showed them their own website. Currently free internet throughout the hotel is still advertised on the hotel's website, although this is far from reality.

For the rest they are a bit basic apartments which are kept clean every day. The kitchen is very basic where only the fridge is usefull. It takes an hour to boil an egg on the stove. Location is good.

The manager will probably reply that they are working on the wifi problem but I wouldn't count on that.
