we ended up staying here after our booked apartment has problems with ours, so didnt know what to expect as hadnt seen any photos or reviews.we were really pleases, descent sized apartment in a quite location but only a 5 min walk to main strip. Pool nice but no parasols and staff helpful.we had room 221 which was at the end so didnt have people walking past or bothering us and they had an onsite night security man who patrolled. we went on the volcano excursion with last minute, good informative trip worth the money. we were brave and ventured onto the local bus to costa teguise to visit the aquarium, the leaflet made it sounds really good but if were honest we were a little disapointed. we had a few ncie meals would recommend cafe la ola and walk along the strip towards the harbour look out for oriential world thats also really nice. would also recommend an hour on the electric scooter they are fun. lanzarote as a whole really nice place would definatley go again and would consider these apartments but would ask for a room fan as no a/c( but wouldnt expect any for the price)

Room Tip: ask for a top floor apartment.

All apartments are the same,. We stayed upstairs but no difference from ground floor. Ask for near the bar if you like a drink and some good company.. Okay I will break this review into three sections. 1 accommodation. These are budget apartments no frills. But very clean bedding and towels changed every couple of days or so kitchen big enough to knock a meal up if you want to try a bit of cooking all utensils pots pans etc are their. Bedroom with plenty of wardrobe space 2 single beds. Lounge with a pull down double bed table tv and more cupboards ace balcony with table and chairs. No air conn but open windows in bedroom leave bedroom door open and open little square Window in lounge/kitchen and you get a good air flow right thru. You won't get better apartment for this price. (if youwantmore money to spend when your their then book here ).2 location. Brilliant set back a little from the strip quiet and only small complex good size pool. DEEP. But kids shallow pool with it. 8 mind in cab from airport 12 euro. Takes 4 min walk to main strip and about 10 to the beach. Wifi at apartments but a bit hit and miss. Walk down to the mucky duck pub get a drink and ask for Wifi code you can Skype viber Facebook whatever and it never drops out. 3.people. Speak with the guys and girls at thepool bar they are great. You will meet some great characters and will never feel ln your own. Lee behind the bar rob and deb Sharon Ross from wigan. Chelsea (gary) Shandy. West Ham they will all give you good advice where to go and what to do. One more thing you can get a good breakfast for 2.5 euro and a pint. For1.5 euro on the strip so don't stress about cooking. Try this place great value for money.

All the previous good reviews were right ...

Thank you to everyone for making our holiday so relaxing !!!!

Just back from an 11 day holiday in Los Gracioseros with my girlfriend. No problem with check in on arrival, paid our fees upfrony which was grand and also paid for the rental of the safe (€2 a day plus €5 deposit). The lady at recpetion was very friendly and the check in process was done quickly. We were given room 201, upstairs with a balcony facing the end of the pool with the pool bar on the opposite side).

The room was a decent size. The living are was a good size with a couch, 2 arm chairs and a kitchen table with 3 chairs. It also had a TV (4 channels - Sky News, CBS Drama, CBS Reality +1 and CBS Action - all in English - €10 deposit for the TV for the 11 days which I thought was good). The kitchen area also featured a kettle and rings to cook some food. The fridge was not massive but could fit the large bottles of water and a few cans of beer. Only fault in the living area for me was that some of the skirting boards were broken and just lying on the floor but that didnt really bother me. The bedroom is small and the original arrangement of the beds were too close to the wardrobes but we then shifted the two beds together and created the space needed. I had a bit of a sore back after a couple of nights and decided to take a look underneath the matress to find that some of the boards were broaken, causing my back to sink on one side. The balcony was pleasent but at about 3.30-4pm the sun goes over the top of the apartment and it doesnt reach the balcony.

On the first night we went for dinner (cant quite remember where) and when we got back to the apartment we were met by an awful, awful smell coming from the toilet/drains. The smell was so bad we had to open every window/door in the apartment to try get it out. After about 10 flushes of the toilet the smell went away. Reception close early and we couldnt mention it to them that night (reception opens 9am - 1pm, 5pm - 8pm). The smell was gone but would reappear once, about a week into the holiday, where upon we went to the pool bar and they gave us bleach to clear the smell and also told us that our apartment had been a 'problem apartment' in the past. Anyways we never encountered the smell again.

The pool bar was reasonably priced and they always had sky sports news on which was good for me. They also showed all the Euro 2012 matches. The pool was quite cold but i found it refreshing, although for the first week it was extremely windy and cooling down wasnt an option as much those days. The temperature was around 26-29 degrees most days which was nice.

The apartments are about 5 minutes from the main strip with bars, restaurants, casino, clubs, shops etc. We would usually stop off at the cocktail bar as you reach the main road, The Golden Corner. They did lovely cocktails but were quite expensive. In terms of food, La Ola restaurant beside the casino was our favourite. It had amazing views over the ocean with well priced, gorgeous food and an amazing little chill out bar right at the front of the sea. We also liked eating in the big Asian restaurant, Oriental World and enjoyed our breakfasts in Tequila Lounge. In terms of bars/clubs, the best spots are Tequila Lounge, Nikki Beach, The Hippodrome and most spots around that area. Avoid Mulligans, very very expensive. Also, avoid Royal, beside Pinnochios. It is really expensive and the food was of poor quality.

Rancho Texas Park is a nice place to visit. It has animals of all sorts, a parrot show, sea lion show and birds of prey show. The Teguise Market is good if you like to find a few bargains although alot of the stalls get repetitive and one or two of the merchants can get a bit pushy. The Old Town is also a nice place to visit.

All in all, another nice stay in Lanzarote. Barely saw a cloud in the 11 days. The apartments were cheap and cheerful but if you're picky with little faults, maybe skip it. We saw a couple of cockroaches around the town and I killed two small ones in the bathroom one of the nights but wasnt to phased about it. I dont know if Ill be back to Lanzarote soon because I've been there the last 2 years but I'd definately recommend it to all, whether that be for couples, families or young a lively (although Tenerife and Gran Canaria is for the livlier).

We just came back from Lanzarote and we would definately recommend it to anyone. The weather was great, sunny all the time, around 25-28C degrees but there was a breeze coming from the sea so it wasn't too hot.... The Apartment itself was really good too, we were actually pleasantly suprised as we paid very little and we got a one bed apartment with a sitting room and kitchen + 1 bedroom and bathroom. Beds were very comfortable, there is a bath with a shower and a small terrace :) Also there is a swimming pool, but the water was really, really cold... Apartments are very close to everything, 5mins walk from the promanade with all the shops and restaurants + beach. It's good because it's situated in a quiter part of the resort but it's very close to all discos and loud coctail bars if you fancy any of those. The bus service is 5 min walk away as well so everything is within an easy reach. The staff is very nice. And there is a pool bar next to the swimming pool. All in all very good resort and would recommend it to all.

There are lots of bars, restaurans and shops. There is a nice 'American Indian Bar' with a live music, it's a nice place to go and listne to a music plus the athmosphere is good....more » They serve great coctails, but they are very weak :) There is another place serving huge coctails and its called 'The Coctail Bar', caferul as drinks over there are very strong... :) We really enjoyed the chinease restaurants and they give you small goodies as a 'thank you'. Shame there wasn't much choice of the traditional Spanish food, apart from paella, but even that wasn't too impressive.. Try Sangria, very nice :)We did few excursions: South Tour and North Tour - they are a must if you want to see the island. They take you to see the National Park with vulcanoes, caves, Cesar Manrique Fundation and the highest point of the island (Mirador del Sol) - amazing views. All good but we decided that we would hire a car next time, as those excursion don't always give you enough time to fully appreciate the views, they is an element of rush and we prefer doing everything in our own time.. We also went to Playa Blanca which is really beautiful but more busy than Puerto del Carmen. Worth seeing. Plus we did a Submarine Safari, very interesting and good experience, if you want to save some money prebook your trip on their direct website and they give 15% discount (8euros per person). Rancho Texas is OK, very exciting show with hawks...
